So which one is the high CHA character?
The one who mananaged to turn the conversation in his interest.
Only homosexuals play high CHA characters
no gaymes
Honestly kinda seems that way. Bard draws in trannies/leftoids.
Frick you Paladins are fricking awesome it's not my fault you need a 17 CHA to be one.
Paladins and Sorcerers are both based and you're a queer.
>he doesn't have 100 Speech
this happened to me and it made me angry and uncomfortable
>HAHA INNUENDO FUNNY HAHA
no you don't get it, it's funny to say "I roll to seduce the dragon" for the thousandth time. remember how we all laughed when we were 15 and playing DnD for the first time? Surely it'll still be funny now years and years later
>remember how we all laughed when we were 15 and playing DnD for the first time?
No.
Damn, I feel bad for you.
We just did conan style power fantasies, not freakshit seducing monsters.
when I played d&d in high school our high cha character was a paladin and EVERY fight was
>I am my sword at the monsters wiener to chop it off!
Never had this happen. Do most of /tg/ actually don't play, or do they play with the worst terminally online cretins in existence?
>Do most of /tg/ actually don't play, or do they play with the worst terminally online cretins in existence?
Yes.
It does happen if you play with random divorced gen X boomers at cons or your local club.
Most of your problems indeed can be solved by just playing with your friends.
Who's got the edit of this?
Talking about xenophilia on /d/ or /trash/
Talking about xenophilia on /tg/
>on /d/
/aco/ might unironically be better for xeno- and teratophilia
If you have to say you're charismatic, you're not charismatic. Weirdos have to imagine this, because they can't act normal irl. That's why the chill normalgay guy who plays a human fighter always ends up as the actual party face.
The human fighter gay is the one who says he is charismatic but actually isn't.
In an all martial campaign (Outside of I who was the lone wizard and then cleric after that wizard died) it was often the orc barbarian who was the actual charismatic one, which was fricking weird.
Among normal people the guy who picks human fighter and orc barbarian are literally the same. The autism and counter-autism over humans and fighters don't exist for normal people outside.
They imply different imagery and somewhat different tastes, but the distinction certainly gets blown out of proportion on /tg/, human male fighter is really just a local meme.
>act normal
>just come off as soulless and boring
Gotta get in where you fit in, anon
>it's a "Female player wants to ERP and calls 'boring' those who don't wanna engage with it" episode
Freedom of sexuality and emotional responsability only matters when they can get away with their fetishes, isn't it.
K but how do those deaf high CHA dudes slay so much bussy
I got your solution bro
charisma , macheesmo, jene sess quiox, a jioux de vivre, big dick energy, the chaddest of chads, the mommiest of the goth gf's.
>jene sess quiox
Je ne sais quoi
>jioux de vivre
Joie de vivre
Go easy on anon, he has Jamais vu
May be a bit l'esprit d'escalier to regret it now.
youve convinced me that charisma is just the measure of how french you are.
Does being more French correlate to being more charismatic or is it vice reversa?
Because every autist watches Vizziepop shit and thinks that's how funny works.
Haha dick dildo consensual sex condoms funny haha
>Haha dick dildo not consensual sex condoms funny haha
Now thats funny
because the opposite is this

Talking is for sex
>You cannot be charismatic if you are normal
Tell me you are bitter about being a loser without telling me you are bitter about being a loser
No I can't. I was talking about my personal experience though
Strictly a D&D problem.
High STR means you lift tons off the ground.
High DEX means you can dodge bullets.
High CON means you can get barraged by bullets like they are airsoft pellets.
High INT means you are practically proficient in most skills under the sun.
High WIS means you can read people like open books.
So why can't high CHA mean you can influence people to ridiculous degrees?
But it does?
I know it does, I mean why should it be a problem?
None of that shit is actually true in the games that use those stats. In 3e. a rogue with max int has 50% more skills (4 extra skills), and that's the most generous edition as far as int-bonus-to-skills. People only survive bullets because they're high level. In actual fact, diplomancy gets ridiculous faster than any other form of noncombat minmaxing, a +40 to physical skills makes you a ninja ape but a +40 to charisma-based skills makes you a living god.
A Level 20 Barbarian with Base 18 STR can reach a base of 28 STR at Level 20, or 36 if he rages. That means he lifts 3,680 pounds above his head (or twice that with a Feat) with no "magic" whatsoever.
A CON of 28 (viable at Level 20) grants you at least +180 HP, when a fireball deals 20d6 at CL 20.
A WIS of 28 means a flat +9 on your Spot or Sense Motive Checks. Add +11 if that is a cross-class skill and you effectively have +20, enough to reliably discern the lies of any non-rogue and even "discern" invisible creatures.
>+40 to charisma-based skills makes you a living god.
That's because leveraging other people is a better skill than leveraging your muscles. Being able to get 100 people working towards your goals is powerful.
Depends on if the DM allows Leadership, but Diplomacy being set DCs instead of opposed does make it hilariously OP later on.
Playing bard is a power fantasy for people who cannot get laid.
Somebody post the tomato based descriptions.
people see the positive results of a high charisma but don't understand mechanically how it works, so they beeline to making a conversational wish fulfillment character. i don't get how it works much either, but at least have the decency to not pretend i do
High CHA characters enjoy prostituting themselves.
The women do it because they wanna be "safe horny"
The dudes who fricking knows, their dads didn't beat them hard enough or something
