Capture pals. They give a lot of EXP.
Fastest way to level up is to catch 10 of everything for the catch bonus. you can hit lvl 30+ on your first day this way.
double xp and gathering is the best way to play these games

The game play is fun enough but nothing spectacular. It is a survival game meets pokemon and people wanting a game that fits that niche of monster catching/taming with the survival building aspect that isn't the fecal fetish that is ARK.
It probably wont go super far after a while unless they add some fun or interesting extra things on top, but why twittertards are throwing tantrums about it is strange.
