I don't know, I only played their last game, Infra. I liked that despite it being a bit weird and dry in parts. Then they decided to spend 7 years developing an open world crafting survival early access game based on what I think is the worst part of their first game.

There's a long history of lone coders making freeware games in Finland. One possible reason for this is that young students have extra time on their hands due to government paying for their time on school.
Last week I found some files from my elementary school times, one of which was a "game" made by someone in 1998. It was called skaba98. It was a single BAT file, and the game was a maze where every single state of the maze and the player inside it was a separate "goto" and every arrow key press was just a goto pointing to a specific state. Whoever made it manually ASCII-wrote dozens of copies of the same maze with the player occupying each possible position. Press right and it's a goto pointing towards an ASCII picture of the maze with the player character one step further toward the right. It's like a parody of programming. But possibly the only way you could have a game inside a DOS batch file.

Well, it's 1997 shareware jank made by one guy. The controls might be difficult to get used to nowadays, there's no mouse support, arrows to move/turn + strafe with alt pressed, ctrl to shoot and so on. They can't be changed either. But it's still a pretty neat game with 50 missions and a map editor. Just don't expect it to be too tactical because the enemy AI is moronic and it's practically impossible to avoid taking at least some damage in combat.
