All good western developers and artists only make indie projects nowadays, and other japanese triple-A devs aren't brave enough to take the financial risk of making a good game anymore.
They're literally the only company that manages to put out high-quality blockbuster after blockbuster without them being riddled with bugs and/or infested with predatory business practices. Yet they're somehow bad because, um, they just are okay?

Elden Ring literally has bugs from Demons Souls, and they had to take Online Servers for 4 fricking games down for 8 fricking months because of one bug.
They are by far, by FAR the most incompetent developers in the AA and AAA space, and it's not even remotely close.
