Something I've noted is that SDXL is a great way to test if your artistic skills match up or exceed the means-tested baseline.
As an example Barrett basically looks no different when he's passed through the Stable Diffusion facemorph model. You can literally verify that claim.

The model also makes Aerith and Cloud look worse. It's notable in that it tends to make attractive characters look worse (Nathan and Ellie from Uncharted 4, before Druckmann hijacked production) but in nearly all cases it makes modern Western characters look more attractive.

Jap character design is unironically at it's best when they don't try to make anime hapas. They should stick to one side, either east(such as most Sengoku Basara/Onimusha games or Amagami) or west(such as Metal Gear or Resident Evil games) rather than making mixed race hapas imo. I think they need to appeal to investors. It make sense to ignore people who are purchasing the product. You need investors to get financing. It's super important. Success isn't really important if you can trick other investors in financing your next project. You guys always look at these games in the wrong way.
