every girl you see outside is getting her pussy and butthole jackhammered by a 220lb chads 9 inch penis every weekend. this is the big secret that society doesn't tell you about. sex is only for chad in our reality, and hes fricking all the girls in the ass. its true, you've most likely never met a woman who hasn't had chads huge penis in her ass. its not a meme, its true. but you dont get to do that stuff, because you werent born with the correct genes. its over.

You've burned out your dopamine receptors with jacking off to porn and smoking weed on a daily basis and have ignored all social responsibilities leaving you with no one in your life and are unable to receive pleasure and stimulation from life.

All social responsibilities are either pointless or not worth the return on investment. People are also trash.OP is just mourning his lost childhood before these facts became known.

because they rarely make fun video games anymore, it's all just a platform to sell you something.

because you're not playing a game to play the game, you're looking ahead to what's next, turning what you're currently playing into an obligation and a blockade.

You focus so much on negatives of the game that you can find very little pleasure in current or future games you play.
Maybe you're minmaxing or and trying to go for best outcomes rather than playing for what it is.
Maybe you don't have friends who will play with you? Maybe you aren't part of a community?
Maybe just the games aren't for you anymore and you'll have more fun seeking hobbies, reading or spending time with other people.

Dedicate less of your daily routine to playing video games and you'll learn to appreciate what little time you have. I used to have bored NEET syndrome but ever since getting a regular 9 to 5 playing vidya is all I think about.

I put 22 hours into a single game this week which I haven't done in a while.

The solution? Delete everything, except for one. Even if you own PC and console, empty both of them out leaving only that one game.

IDK if it's some psychological thing but having only one game installed and ready to play means it's easier to get addicted and have fun, especially during times where I have nothing better to do in the day.

My only issue, is that I'm a completionist, and I don't know if I should stop playing this game before I get burnt out or keep committing to the last few achievements.

Aggressive monetization (gacha, DLC despite most games relying on shit like Unity or UE4 doing the heavy lifting).
Casualization (never getting a P1999 era everquest ever again)
Derivative (brain dead culture scared of risk)
Phones needing to be targeted, at best PC will get a port.
    Early access content drips

You grew up. Go for a run. Go spend time with family. Call up an old friend from high school. Cook something new, or maybe an old favorite. Enjoy one of the myriad other forms of storytelling that humans have created. Why lament that a time waster is no longer wasting your time?
