A garbage combat system with a terrible introduction. I dropped it after 3 hours, but if you can make it through like the first 5-10 hours then maybe you'll like it.
I might go back and give it another chance, but I was so put-off by the battle system and just the general flow/introduction of the game. The visuals aren't that great either, like the art direction is weird.
Waiting for pic related, Granblue Fantasy Relink, FF7 Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, and the new Mana game. Might get Persona 3 Reload when there's a mod to replace the original music, because the new music sounds like trash.
Half of it’s a VN. It’s a good story but some scenes linger a bit too long. The SAO conspiracy kidnapping premise is great but it doesn’t always live up to it. The dungeon crawling and combat are alright. The battle system is unique with how it lets you knock enemies around the battlefield for extra damage, but enemies get spongy and battles turn into a waiting game where you have to trigger the ability to hack in and use a genre swap (special attack) if you don’t want to drain and restore your SP multiple times per battle. Skills that actually hurt enemies are expensive as hell. And some party members feel useless, while one in particular is waaaaay more powerful than the others. Overall I like the game but it’s definitely messy and not for everyone. I hear the sequel just straight up guts mechanics to streamline it, which I’m kinda looking forward to.
People told me it's not just auto attack, it needs skill etc. I'm literally just auto attack and finished the game. Even beat the Lv 120 super boss. What skill?
you're full of shit. no way you just beat them by not pressing a single button.
I literally don't. I die npc auto revive me. Auto heal me. Maybe sometimes I do press button but only because I'm bored. It's literally just more damage button. I just love to explore the world.

recommend me a jrpg with good waifus or cute girls, but also where gameplay doesn't suck
Xenoblade 2. Gameplay is good when you get it, I recommend actually looking up a guide since there is hidden stuff you might want to know (e.g. blade specials don't display damage ratio ingame, and you don't really know shit about combo effects)
Because they're soulless garbage written by autistic, lonely people with no real friends or partners, who yearn for human interactions without actually knowing anything about them. Made for people who are just like them. Japan is a terrible, soulless place and it's extremely ironic that their cutesy, cartoonish writing and character design are made by the most depressed workaholics in the world.
I just tried Chrono Cross. At first the combat system put me off, but then the tutorial helped me understand it and now it's ok. Not it's just the shitty combat theme that is bothering me. How the frick did they think this was a good theme to have? The one you hear the most? Yuck.
because they are shit
fpbp
go back
Because nobody wants to waste their time on a Jay Are Pee Gee
Fpbp
this
they really are all the same, yet weebs still eat that shit up just because it's japanese
Thread should've ended here
If JRPGs didn't have anime girls nobody would play them
This is the anime which was actually decent only the shit game that was Ryza.
i can't stand them
I am.
I just bought this.
What am I in for?
The most based protagonist in quite a long time.
bullshit
Damn, he ugly.
Why does this look like some solo project OC character
PS2 era kino
A pretty good video game
awesome characters, bland world but really fun jrpg with star ocean feel. I beat it it, which is saying a lot.

I'm late into Ys8, some points of interest are bullshit hard to find
no one ever shared the boob slider cheat engine table
Is this AI?
No, just artifacts from stitching together a panning shot I'm guessing.
Probably the guy that made the stitch fricked up and didn't realize or something
Now you know why AI has trouble drawing hands
How do you make really powerful bombs in Atelier?
This shit is confusing as frick and the game does a poor job of explaining it.
Waiting for ReLink.
But why? It literally reminded me of Tales of Arise.

It's nothing like Tales of Arse.
you're literally moronic
I'm playing Rance's games. The 8th one currently. Is it a jrpg?
Recommend a jrpg with hard mode
If you are cool with tactics.
Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon.
But FE is not a jrpg? WTF anon?
Silly anon, its a J(S)RPG.
Normal mode. But man do later difficulties will make you want to crush your balls.
Hard is the easy mode?
I bought these during the Steam sale but haven't started them yet.
Also emulating Digimon World 3 on my tablet.
My homie. I love playing digimon world 2,3 on my phone. I know people fricking hate 2, but turbo makes it pretty reasonable.
You bought every neptunia except for the only one worth playing lmao
Because I'm moronic and I need a guide in hand to play one
I’m playing Death End Re;Quest. I’m on chapter 7. Lucil best girl
How is that game bro? It's actually a vn, right? Please honest no meme bros. I hate vn long winded nonsense.

>anime vs game
I just finished the first Golden Sun like an hour or two ago, I'm taking a break and playing some other stuff before I pick up another one.
recommend me a jrpg with good waifus or cute girls, but also where gameplay doesn't suck
Sequel Blight if you are dickygay
Sequel Awake if you are a titty enjoyer.
after I finish this 2nd bg3 run I just started I'm going to play skies of arcadia
Currently playing one of the best
2 is better
definitely. hotter women too.

bullshit c**t unless you're playing on easy mode or some shit
I see you're having a skill issue in a non-skill game. Many such cases
There is no way you can beat the lvl 120 superboss by auto-attacking only. no chance whatsoever.
People told me it's not just auto attack, it needs skill etc. I'm literally just auto attack and finished the game. Even beat the Lv 120 super boss. What skill?
Same, but I'm not sure I like it so much.

Why the frick are Nips so obsessed with heterochromia?
It's cool to them just like German language
Why the frick are you so obsessed with nipples?
all anime faces look the same, you gotta come up with something to make them look distinct.
Because its still 2 months until DD2 releases
>western wannabe slop
cringe
go back
I'm picky with JRPGs
3D graphics, 4 homies in a row, standard turn based (frick ATB)
And i've played virtually all of them. Anything to look out for?
Undertale

But I already do.
