If you look at the animations, the SAM had actually activated its LB before the DRG did.
Because of noodle codes, as long as the SAM had already activated its LB, it counted the DRG as dead.
This is also why if you try to bait a SAM LB, you would want to have a shield before you try him with chiten on, because if the SAM use its LB before you put your shield, the game won't even considerate it and you will just die.

XIV has historically always had an extremely deflated economy, where prices for items are always dirt cheap compared to the amount of gil in circulation.
The first round of houses in 2.1 on legacy servers (where players could bring their Gil from 1.0 to 2.0) were priced anywhere from 100m for a small to upwards of 400m for a large.
The only items that actually have a high price tag are new items, such as those from the newest treasure maps in the first weeks of release for example.

Force the PF tanks to invuln the first mechanic, there is no reason not to. Zoom out the camera and pay attention to the tether colors for superchain theories, kick and blacklist shitters.
For the 2nd phase , depends what your PF is doing, we did yuki calorics on ours.

The dps check is nothing compared to p8s.
I think if you have it to 30% or under before limit cut, you should be fine.
Also for the dumb colorful tethers/falling platforms part (forgot the mechanic name), we did letters stand on the tower under the boss, while numbers were the other tower, but again, it depends on what your PF is doing.

Seat of Sacrifice EX might be worth for the crafting mats too, stocking them up before the glowing crafted weapons come out, but that's long-term profit.
There's also some orchestrion rolls from raids that cost a lot, like eScape or Return to Oblivion, but that's heavy RNG dependent. Savage min-ilvl guarantees it drops I think, but obviously that's a lot tougher.

the game is *usually* consistent in its tells, and there aren't may fights that you either must know or die outside of savage / extreme. The worst offender is Pharros Lighthouse (don't break the eggs) and Chrysallis.

Honestly? I don't find myself invested at all in the post-EW MSQ, Zero is pretty great but the story she's involved with has been really boring for me. All I do now is ERP with catgirls.
It got too homogenized. Heavensward gameplay was kino and each class played differently. I loved heavensward drk, drg, and sch. Now every tank/healer plays exactly the same and they murdered scholar.

I don't think subs are that bad if you still enjoy the game. In a lot of the single player games coming out lately you're not even getting 1 hour of gameplay per dollar spent. The cash shop existing at all in a game with a sub fee is cancer though, i'll give you that.
My biggest gripe so far has to be how easy the Alliance raids are. The music is bombastic and fun but when partnered with the fights (even on content) just makes it feel out of place.

On Crush Helm healers need to stop GCDing to time Esuna exactly so tanks don't get deleted. They also lose a GCD on the Esuna cast itself. BRD brings an oGCD Esuna so that takes away one of the tanks to take care of. If you have a PLD they can Cover to take care of the other debuff, otherwise just invuln.
cDPS is probably the best metric to compare across all jobs. It's basically aDPS with the gains from buffs in rDPS added.
