You need froggo to do all the damage. I put froggo on Cazador the entire fight and she basically just chunked right through his mist form. I fricking love froggo.

I just finished that fight on Tactician, what are you struggling with? Not trying to be rude but unless you come into that fight severely underleveled you shouldn't have any issues, Czador is a pushover.
I'm struggling with keeping Astarion alive after wasting the first turn misty-stepping to save him. I also brought necrotic res. potions but Cazadore still 2-(sometimes 1)-shots my Shadowheart. I don't know how to utilize all of Astarion's abilities fully, was thinking about giving him Blood of Lathander, but for roleplaying purposes, I decided against that and now I regret it. Fricking Skelly homosexual keeps roofie'ing my Karlach. I guess I have to reload an earlier save to come better prepared with Bae'zel and nukes. I wonder if I can win using gunpowder barrels.

I will say as a Karlach simp, Lae'zel feels the most "realistic" out of the bunch. She acts like how any normal person would in that situation.

Karlech straight up tells you she is from hell, participated in a war, and being hunted by false paladins.
She also doesn't beat around the bush about being a ticking time bomb or too hot to touch.
My issue with Karlach is she doesn't really change over the game. She's just constantly positive then has a meltdown in act 3 but she recovers in a few long rests. They should've expanded on her abuse from Zariel. Maybe make her afraid or triggered by some random shit like SH is with wolves.

Because they've been adding animations for other companions so I'm waiting for them to get to Lae'zel. Also I'd prefer to play through Act 3 as few times as possible so I'm gonna just wait for the Definitive Edition
My game was fine until patch 4 now it's lag fest in act 3, maybe i should do the same and wait for the definitive edition
I already beat it once and it took very long so I'm not very interested in playing again because I fear of missing out on other games
I finished the first two acts and burned out. I'll go back and do act 3 but it probably won't be until like next year since I have a lot of other games to play

My first play clocked out at 220 hours and that was with me missing the whole mountain pass and a bunch of act 1 stuff. I'm waiting for the game to have some substantial updates and content before returning though I already have a strong urge to come back for a 2nd playthrough.

For someone completely unfamiliar with DnD style gameplay how hard would it be to just jump into bg3? Never really played anything similar
