I was, until I wasn't. The game hasn't changed at all since release. The endgame content is still the same 4 abyss floors with their only purpose to promote current selling characters to appeal to FOMO. META is still the same, exploration got more and more lazy and boring, main story quest got more and more pointlessly large, with Paimon repeating the same fricking thing 20 times per hour to make sure even the most braindead zoomer will understand something from the story when they have it on autoplay and alt tabbed. Devs are stingy as well with the rolls, giving 3 rolls for their anniversary while everyone on honkai is flooded with freebies and stuff to try.
I loved the game, I loved playing it and trying out different team comps and meme squads. But the devs give me the impression that they are trying their best to push me out of the game. Well, they achieved it.
I quit the game two years ago, even spending real money on shitters like Eula and Yoiyma.
The story sucks and I can't skip it. Even when events come out you have to read a 2 hour unskippable dialog box before you can play the game. You can't even set dialog advancement to auto because the game keep interrupting it with player input.
There is not a single other video game that doesn't have cutscene skip aside from Final Fantasy X which basically invented slow boring cutscenes. I'm sure some WRPGs have slow dialog trees but in those you can choose the bottom option to tell the person to frick off and die.

The demo music is probably something to do with her being literally glitchy. I like the combination of raw, jarring noises with the choir. Lends to the idea of a character who is leading two very different lives.

It's not so much powercreep as it is trying to juggle new mechanics.
It's a decent way to combat powercreep becasue you can set higher levels of power behind more complex setups that have to sacrifice stuff.
Since like 1.3 I've been able to run Hu Tao, Zhongli, XQ, and whatever fourth you want to just run over anything endgame, even through today. Arle needed wacky shit to not just be a straight hu tao upgrade (or worse, sidegrade). Clorinde similarly is trying to compete with Raiden who shits out damage and fuels your entire team.
Personally I'm hoping she'll have a fun setup with yoimiya so we can run like yoimiya, chevy, clorinde, and kuki.

I was, until I wasn't. The game hasn't changed at all since release. The endgame content is still the same 4 abyss floors with their only purpose to promote current selling characters to appeal to FOMO. META is still the same, exploration got more and more lazy and boring, main story quest got more and more pointlessly large, with Paimon repeating the same fricking thing 20 times per hour to make sure even the most braindead zoomer will understand something from the story when they have it on autoplay and alt tabbed. Devs are stingy as well with the rolls, giving 3 rolls for their anniversary while everyone on honkai is flooded with freebies and stuff to try.
I loved the game, I loved playing it and trying out different team comps and meme squads. But the devs give me the impression that they are trying their best to push me out of the game. Well, they achieved it.
I quit the game two years ago, even spending real money on shitters like Eula and Yoiyma.
The story sucks and I can't skip it. Even when events come out you have to read a 2 hour unskippable dialog box before you can play the game. You can't even set dialog advancement to auto because the game keep interrupting it with player input.
There is not a single other video game that doesn't have cutscene skip aside from Final Fantasy X which basically invented slow boring cutscenes. I'm sure some WRPGs have slow dialog trees but in those you can choose the bottom option to tell the person to frick off and die.
