because right now i'm playing nioh 1. how should i upgrade my weapons/armor? reforge the skills or soul match without regard for anything else or what? i like the combat a lot but this shit is a little overwhelming
I didn't even bother upgrading stuff until the postgame. I just picked up whatever weapon had the highest number on it

IIRC soul matching isn't super useful until NG+.

I bought Strangers of Paradise which was made by the same team. Its was fun and going to buy DLC is coming out later this month. Not trying to start a new game especially a very similar one right now.
