Yeah I remember, I made the very last temtem thread too. Haven't really touched the game much since then either though after all the new shit that got added I might pick it back up someday. The grind waiting for that first update really killed the hype

I don't think so. The first thing cloud meadows did when taking over breeding season was eliminate ferals and neotenies. And that was a degenerate game meant to be degenerate.
Nexomon Extinction is peak pokeclone. If you can stomach the 4th wall humor, the story and twist is the best thing to happen to the monster catching genre
I don't play pokemon to grind. I don't play pokemon to see black npcs. I don't play pokemon to see transexual npcs. I don't play pokemon for ugly monsters with zero sex appeal. I don't play pokemon for the multiplayer. The game was not made for me and I can respect that. Please respect that I will not buy it. Ever.

But it simultaneously limits how many times an individual or their offspring can breed?

I saw TemTem is coming to consoles soon, physical release too, but I just can't be bothered. Not when the game requires online to play it, defeating the point of a physical release.
The people who try to "fix" pokemon always end up making it worse. Double battles aren't fun, RNG is fun and no one gives a frick about online multiplayer.
All anyone actually wants is a good singleplayer campaign with cool monster designs

Monster crown is a buggy mess. Coromon, Disc Creatyres and Nexomon are solid (but inferior) pokemon clones. I don't think it's fair to compare Palworld to pokemon since it's a completely different genre
Nexomon is great can confirm. I've tried Coromon and Monster Crown, and though I love the idea behind the latter, I'm struggling to find motivation to play it past the first town
