The poor writing skills of today's creatives doesn't allow them to write such a female character without endowing her with a multitude of what used to be considered masculine, and certainly toxic if they were to be used for modern male characters, traits in order to attain that. They literally cannot conceive of a woman being tough AND beautiful/feminine. This just bleeds over into the character design as well. Traditionally feminine features are too soft for their strong independent girl-boss. The models in DS look amazing in cutscenes but shit in game. Sam's face looks completely flat and smudged, almost like something out of Goldeneye 007.
The Outlaws one is not helped by second rate modelling, animation and lighting quality. Jedi 1 and 2 are pretty high end games graphically, especially 2, Outlaws saw a major downgrade from its reveal trailer last year. Some of the animation work in the newer trailer is downright awful.
