You bind dodge to circle and Reigning Slash to R1 and use nothing else, this is how the developers want you to play the game and if you do anything else you're playing it wrong.

Nope, Sword Rain is fast and can be linked into Blazing sword easily.
Sounds like a lot of work when you could just use Reigning Slash and get similar results.

Reigning slash forever is the optimal max dps rotation. There is no faster way to play.

Anon I beat the game on hard before looking at threads and that's what I started using during the thunder boss. This game fricking sucks

No you moron, it did the most damage and has a decent animation time, outside of spending your entire health bar for flamesword shit there is actually nothing better to spam.

Feels like Star Ocean tbh. You can start staggering bosses later on with accessories boosting your damage. NG+ Chaos/Unknown just bring over arts and equipment and you can constantly stagger loop bosses
ATK over Penetration?
Counter attack damage is the best damage boost since it's active all the time unless the enemy is downed. Penetration is good for Law but I never use it on the others. Raw attack boosts are garbage.
What accessory should I use?
Aim for attack 15% then counter atk 30%x4 for Alphen or magic atk 15% fire 15%x 4 for his fire arts. If using him as an assist you use boost gauge x4 so he can stunlock bosses. Rinwell use all elemental atk % and for Shionne get a CP cost reduction accessory and do CP reduction 10% x4. Law go all penetration if maining him. Dohalim and Kisara I just went atk % and counter x4.

how do i dohalim Ganker? feels like he is the weakest of the party by far 0 dmg and a lot of work
I feel like Dohaboy is impossible to effectively play as a PC, He's a red-mage type character and you just don't have enough button inputs to cover all of his aspects.
The bosses do feel like a souls game, seeing how you can hardly stun to combo them

agreed. I mean i still love it, it's such a 9/10. Make bosses comboable and it would be straight up a 10/10.
The game still gets support and updates so i hope they will actually put in some decent stun system. Boost Strike ain't doing it man
Whats the deal with the elemental spirits coming out of the wedge?
It's said they were just byproducts of collecting elemental spirit energy, but the cubes in the marshlands were the same as those floating about inside the gnome dungeon, right?
Were they an aberration on Dahna, caused only by the harvesting process via cores, or were they originally condusive to the spiritual energy system of dahna, but then repurposed.
Light energy was colleced on dahna same as the other 4 elements, but it had no elemental.
I'm inclined to believe that light was more anthropomorphic in nature compared to the other 4 animalistic elements. It'd explain why Rinwell could hear it 'speak', suggesting it had a will.
Opposed to the renan spirit, which didn't speak, but instead mindlessly exuded raw, palpable emotion. Whether its lack of will was the property of the darkness element itself, or because it had degenerated into blind voraciousness, I couldn't say.

Just reached that room in the final level with all the portals that force you to fight unescapable fights before you can proceed and I decided "frick this game".

You beat one and then the door blocking the way opens up, how the frick do you miss that
I'm pretty sure that if you don't skip any enemies you will always have enough materials to craft your weapons.
