Why didn't bethesda outsource their writers?
You can't teach people how to be writers like you can teach graphic design. Writing takes talent, and talent is rare.
seems like a pretty accurate representation of current day white woman
>Im disappointed that you didnt trust the science
Bethesda was based for this. Basically every companion gets pissed at you for this when it's outwardly the obvious choice. Its supposed to make vaxxies realize their cognitive dissonance.
STOP HARASSING THE POOR DISABLED israeli MILLIONAIRE AND SPREADING THE CYCLE OF LIES AND HATE
IM GONNA SUE YOU FOR BEING A CULT LEADER
>Why didn't bethesda outsource their writers?
>Implying
>[Medicine] Your vitals are...No...No no no no...
>your bobs and vegene is OH NO NO NO
Joss Whedon was busy that afternoon
Because it's too fricking expensive to make games to current gen graphical standards, which is why everything is outsourced and has to be a megahit, live service or yearly asset flip to be profitable
>it's too fricking expensive to make games to current gen graphical standards
Then quit it. PS3-era graphics were fine.
My point exactly.
>PS3-era graphics were fine.
They were not, it was the ugliest era so far. I thought we were going to get those beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds you see in a lot of PS2 games, except in full 3D. What we got was volumetric fog and colour correction out the ass. I thought we'd get FMV-quality scenes in real time, instead we got face scans and shit animation rigging coupled with film club-tier scene direction and choreography.
>fricking expensive
They do it because its cheap. Photorealistic graphics is free real estate because it uses scanned in assets and AI generated textures, there's very little hands on about it and so they can get away with outsourcing to studios with no quality control because the final product will look 'next gen' no matter what. Most of the budget goes to marketing and voice actors.
Splatoon probably cost more to make in terms of assets than Starfield because they're made from scratch. Just look at how much concept art shit gets rejected in Bethesda games. Its because they're looking at it from the angle of 'how much does it cost to get a model made of this.'
>Splatoon probably cost more to make in terms of assets than Starfield because they're made from scratch
[citation needed]
because it's suitslop. Their games are for fricking idiots who fall for aggressive advertising
One Black in a sea of jeets and chinks
Because it's cheaper.
>Weiyan Zhao (as Zhao Weiyan)
Why'd they do it to him?
they really wanted to frick with that guy
They've always outsourced their assets and then handed them over to interns to butcher, people shit on Bethesda but they have improved in that aspect, Starfield probably has the least asset bugs from what I've seen, its everything else thats the problem.
somebody has to do the needful yes sir?
you think one guy's capable of modeling, rigging, animating and rendering every single asset, environment, props and other junk in a game?
>all chinks and pajeets
jesus christ how horrifying
Most large studios do this moron-kun. Get a job.
And then all the old talent leaves and the investors and executives start putting out notices that they're very disappointed in how the company is performing and layoffs are to be expected shortly
White dudes left the industry because they can make 20% more being a software programmer and not have to deal with marxists feminists breathing down their necks for farting in a room with a woman in it
>And then all the old talent leaves
Because they have enough experience to start their own studios making more money and having more freedom.
i can't remember the last time a studio was formed around ex-employees that also created something good and memorable
Titanfall was made by ex Call of Duty devs who worked on the entire series until MW2
Nah they become software engineers, the industry is dead, there's nobody with any experiencer making games anymore, that's why they have to outsource to unqualified poos that lie about their degrees
>SK Ershad Bux
That's kinda baller, ngl
cost
If you frickers knew the margins that exist simply by buying an office in Delhi and hiring a "manager" to help corral a bunch of fresh "college grads" (who are all fricking 18 btw in India) you would fricking cry. You can hire like 15 Indians for 1 american, give them some basic training and you have a product which can "pass" but is obviously inferior. Usually it has to be sent back and forth like 3 times before it's up to par and is a massive headache for the skeleton crew wherever the actual dev studio is, but god dude the savings. why didn't you think of the savings?
IMMEDIATELY fire emil and hire kirkbride
He said hes back on contract for TES6 already. But having some decent lore wont fix the shit art direction, quests, world design and dialogue made from the pajeets
