Is Toothpaste-kun striking, memorable? Absolutely. Mika excels at grabbing the eye. So if that was the intent, it succeeds. If you look at within the context of 'high fantasy lord', the jury's out. Its not grounded in that at all.
The hairs looks like a bug, it's not even ugly because it's danger hairs, it genuinely looks like two different hair assets loading at the same time and having no coherence between each others
