These games never used to get localized though. Remember the first Xenoblade game was a part of that big online campaign alongside Last Story and Pandora's Tower where weebs were trying to beg them to publish those games in the west. Nintendo didn't think they would be a success.

A lot of Pokegays don't even really care about Nintendo as a whole. You saw this in the Wii U/3DS era when the new Pokemon games were still selling like hotcakes but basically none of those people were buying a Wii U. Let's all be real here, the American games industry as a whole shafted anything "anime" that wasn't Final Fantasy or Pokemon during the turn of the millennium.
We go through this every single generation. At the end Nintendo is just putting out low budget shit so people say they stopped making "real" video games not understanding games take years to make and everything is being built for the switch 2 right now.
