It really didnt but the new tanks arent very good imo. Junker Queen feels like a glorified dps and Doomfist was cucked because shitters couldn't handle the bbc. 5v5 isnt a very good change because most tanks and healers arent reworked to fit this playstyle. Dps are in an even better state which will lead to the exact same problem with queue times being in ow2. Multiple dps are cracked rn Hanzo widow junk etc and have little to no pressure because tanks now cannot peel to take care of them.
Also the new monetization will kill the recurring playerbase
It was closed, invite only, I played it sure there’s changes some good some bad. It’s going free to play and battle pass like Fortnite. It will be the biggest f2p game coming out for awhile. So it will be successful, outfits, butts and porn. Free for horny teens and young adults.
