    moronic low quality post.

    qrd?

The DLCs released after GTA IV redesigned a handful of characters. Jim in GTA IV is some random generic Biker unlike in TLAD where you interact with him more often.

Gay Tony was the only good thing about IV and its DLCs.
        >Better weapons
        >Better missions
I think it also had parachutes and some APC instead of a tank.

          TLAD has the superior atmosphere

Because he was a minor character and R* underdesigned him in the base game

Was it worth it, though? Top looks kinda based. Like a mix between Vincent D'Onofrio and Vince Vaughn from Brawl in cell block 99.

Was TLAD unfinished or what? A lot of story bits and pacing were very weird.

      >Was TLAD unfinished or what?
Other than the diamonds and maybe Stubb's missions, the whole DLC felt like some bonus mission arc stretched out into a half-assed DLC.

poltards will dig up a DLC for a 15 year old game just to complain about the change of a small insignificant character changing to be a different color of melanin

      >Race is only color
      >Complains about polchads while posting a pic of the greatest polchad to ever live
Baits aside, I'm genuinely curious about the reasons behind the change. If the character was so insignificant, why bother with a complete redesign? And this only happens in this particular case. Every other character from GTA4 that gets more screentime in the DLCs gets at most a change of clothes. It doesn't make sense.

when they first made that mission in gta 4, those were literally just generic biker models, and not real people in lore.

So? Is that supposed to be a reason or something? It sounds like a bullshit excuse a lazy dev would give for cutting out Jim's character from the entire game. Problem is, the character wasn't cut at all. Quite the contrary, in fact. They introduced an entire new character. A more appropriate course of action would have been to make Jim look like his correspondent biker npc with just enough differences for him to give the benefit of doubt. But what they did just doesn't make sense.

You might need to go outside if you are genuinely curious about something so asinine

          >Just turn your brain off, bro
Kek, you are actually a great example of what a moron is like. A sentient being who just isn't able to think beyond basic needs, hopelessly stuck in between an animal and a human.
And when you are exposed to any type of intelligent behavior, you can't help but react seething in anger with ad-hominem attacks. In short, you are pretty much an actual NPC. Which is funny because the topic of this thread is centered around an NPC in itself. So I guess this entire thread must have really struck a chord, isn't it right?

Imagine thinking you are intelligent for observing this insignificant irrelevant

It's just a simple question. If it is so irrelevant, then why are you so upset? What are you hiding, anon.

Im not upset, Im dumbfounded that someone can "care" about this non-issue

                Anonymous

Yeah right, Rockstar just suddenly decided to put a lot of effort in this "non-issue" nothing to see here, folks. just move along. You either stupidly think that you can keep people from noticing or you just actually believe this is something irrelevant. In any case, it does not speak very well of your intelligence.

Cheap and efficient way to further tie the DLC and base game stories together, it's simple

          >Cheap and efficient way to further tie the DLC and base game stories together
Are you kidding? In reality, it was the exact oppossite of your comment.
It wasn't cheap. They had to create a brand new character from scratch, hire a new VA, etc.
It wasn't effective. All it did was confuse the players and further destroy the actual ties of both stories.
It was completely unnecessary so surely there must be an actual reason behind the change.

Rockstar was getting more poisoned by the minute. Just look at how preachy their games were getting starting with SA.
