Over-the-shoulder TPS, long cutscenes, regularly taking away player agency, quick time events, a story that tries to be Oscar bait, and minimal interaction with the game world.
I don't remember long drawn-out cutscenes or walking behind npcs with boring exposition in that game. 80% of it was pure gameplay and the story didn't try to be more than it was. It was just pure arcadey fun.
I can tell you’re just trying to put words into that guy’s mouth. Go do a playthrough of RE4 and then go do a playthrough of TLoU. If you’re not moronic, you can tell that TLoU puts incredible focus on being a cinematic experience first rather than gameplay, whereas in RE4, the cutscenes are a compliment to an extremely fun gameplay experience. And there’s nothing wrong with that, I actually like TLoU 1 quite a bit. you morons just always seem to counter argue that every game with a cutscene is a movie game. Shut the frick up
