Suicide Squad is bad but Batman has been catered to long enough. Let's see some other Justice League member games

I do not care to play as any of the other gay heroes.

homie you play as a man who dresses up in Bat tights and has young orphaned children fight for him.

The Batmobile is a boring superhero despite being the greatest

...because it was the final game?
You can't really continue the series with the way it ended. Not unless you do another prequel.

I do think that WB is holding back on greenlighting another Batman centered game because they think there's demand for other characters.

      >because they think there's demand for other characters.
Because there is? I am legit hoping Wonder Woman's game isn't dogshit, and plenty of people would throw money at Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern games if available. Christ I'd even take Green Arrow, which is similar gameplay to Batman yet different enough to warrant it

Sweet Baby will probably help them with the writing. You saw what they did with her in the Suicide Squad game.

I feel like Green Arrow and and Green Lantern could make for great VR games.
For Green Arrow's game, I feel like shooting arrows would feel more intuitive than throwing batarangs so it would have that over a Batman VR game, and mixing and matching different trick arrows would add a whole other element of replayability. Of course, You could just make an Arkham Style game where you play as GA in Star City.

Green Lantern could have an interesting thing going on where the game could let to design your own constructs and use them in combat

there is literally no demand for Green Arrow.

even his CW show basically just turned the character into Batman and stole all of Batman's villains/arcs because they presumably couldn't get the rights to make an actual Batman show

That's what happens when WB says frick you, you can't use these characters in your show.

I don't blame them it's fricking CW why would they want to let them have Batman

Because WB is moronic. Nobody takes CW seriously because it's WB's cheapass channel.

Green Arrow's problem is that he's well-known for being a political activist, and yet also no one can agree what his actual views should be when portrayed. So no matter what they did, people would be mad and claim he was being written incorrectly. Conservatives would hate him for being a progressive leftist, and lefties would hate him for being a neoliberal billionaire.

You could easily make a Robin/Nightwing/Red Hood/Azrael game where they take the mantle, hell, the Robin and Red Hood DLC's take place after the game ended

They did make a Batman game without Batman, it was called Gotham Knights. Look how that turned out

That game was shit because it the typical AAA that tried to be an RPG, the BamHam games have modes and dlc's where you play as different characters with their own gimmicks and gadgets, and they they were fun

No one wants to play a Batman game where Batman is dead. They want to play Batman IN ADDITION to his adjacent family. All people really wanted with Arkham Knight further expanded upon, meaning free roam with those characters.

I don't know, i think people would quickly get over it as long as the game was good

That still won't work. When a character is dead, especially a well liked one, it limits the storytelling available

Eh, just have Bruce as a mentor, like in Batman Beyond, Knight's ending was ambiguous enough to say Batman just faked his death

Batman Beyond proved that you don't need to have Bruce as the man in the suit to be successful.

Batman Beyond wasn't very successful, that's why it got canceled after just 3 seasons

Three seasons and a movie. That's actually pretty good for a late 90s cartoon.

what? 3 seasons is normal for a cartoon. Even Avatar and the original Batman show only got 3 seasons.

It could've been time to expand the universe and introduce reality warpers who undo Batman's identity reveal because they need the world's greatest detective and his secret identity must remain secret from the enemy lest they use it against him.
Instead they expand the universe in Punisher kills the Marvel Universe mixed with Tower of Babel.

Arkham Knight made it obvious they really didn't have anywhere else to go. The only thing that even justifies it being a separate game from City is the shitty Batmobile they force on you.
