Crash deserved better coming off the hype of the remakes, especially CTR which had enough content for two and a half whole games.
I mean, 1-3 were fun enough but nothing amazing. The fact that anything happened beyond that is just down to corporate greed. Crash should have been allowed to rest in peace after an adequate job

Same, I have tried to 106% Crash 4 but it's such an exhausting process that I've dropped the game at least 3 times whereas I did the trilogy remakes in about a week each

I don’t even understand who crash appeals to. Sonic and mario I get. Crash looks like he belongs to a pizza chain or some other fast food delivery service, he’s not much of a game mascot.
Crash is like Mario but hardcore. The cast is what brings him to goodness

ever since crash's IP started to get in other companies it all got fricked up
Id say the disparity came with Twinsanity. As funny as that game can be it feels different tonally to everything else. If CNK is Space Jam, then Twinsanity is an episode of The Simpsons. Then it just turned into Invader Zim/Chowder with the Titans games.
