When i start quitting games that did not respect the time I put in to get fun. I quit playing destiny 2 and codmw2 for the same reason. Games like rimworld, ksp, ac6, respect my time by having mechanics that are actually worth delving into, or providing challenges that are fulfilling to master because it requires adaption and skill. crucially, these games don't need you to play every day to keep up- you can take a break, enjoy something else, then come back to it when you want to
destiny/cod/runescape do not have deep mechanics or challenges and try to entrap players into playing every day and minmaxing time spent, and are therefore manipulative piles of FOMO shit that must be avoided
I was too poor for membership. Not even kidding. I never had much money in first place, so bond was out of question. Highest stats I got are 70 something agility, 70 prayer, and 80 cooking. I planned on getting into pvp but my stats were too low and I didn't had enough money to pay for membership.
If I had enough money for membership at one point, I'd have been multi millionaire in the game and just paid for game through RS bonds.
Too many newbies who vote yes to everything, including the exact same shit that killed the game 10+ years ago. Now that you have people running around with Torva and Korasi you can't even tell it's the same game anymore
Levels just get too fricking grindy after a certain point, usually around 80+.
This wouldn't be a problem, if the endgame content didn't require 90+ in every stat.
The first 50 to 60 levels are the best part of training a skill, which is probably why so many youtubers make a new account every other week instead of maxing their main.
quit and never went back to runescape when jaged added squeel. stopped playing the regular game mode in osrs when bonds were added. i now only sporadically play hcim exclusively, but i haven't logged in for two years now. just got tired of seeing bots everywhere. the truth is that osrs lost it's identity a long time ago, and now completely populated and influenced by people that don't even enjoy it.
Pride parade and inclusivity bullshit changing the game irreparably and altering it from what we knew of as OSRS. They also said those werent the only inclusivity changes coming to the game, dipped because they were killing runescape. Plus the only update they do on time is fricking pride parades, its clear where their priorities lie. >but muh seasonals
Pride will never be a traditional holiday that everyone can enjoy. Its a vain event for a small group of people wishing an agenda. The Easter Bunny gives eggs for fricks sake, not scissors and chemicals to create a new generation of Eunuchs. These holidays are for the family and for the kids
>quit
You never quit, you simply take breaks.
My current 4+ year break is because I met all the goals I had as a kid. So I was just grinding 8 hours a day for no real reason beyond habit.
This got a lot media attention back then. It's a honestly a really bad look for Jagex so they had to put you racists in your place by dabbing on you with pride updates and making npcs black and brown.
EoC
They were too smug about it and thought they would net a ton of new players
i had to run and escape bro
it was the only way bro
Terrible game
that hairline is unnatural
He's such a silly bastard. I can't believe people give him money. Neither can he, I think.
>What's up slave
Bro let's going out to the forest today
it's not an MMO and it has officially sanctioned RMT

It became a dating app
I met my first gf on runescape like 15 years ago, its always been a dating app. There's just no real women on it anymore.
hero pass was the last straw that made me quit rs3
my friend stopped so I did too
Grind(er) sim for turboautists.
I had my fun with PKing on private servers and quit.
It got too repetetive.
Theres not much to do in it after you run trough the quests a couple of times.

I grinded to get a membership bond for like 5 days straight then quit after buying one.
It's still in my bank.

It's really boring without friends
I got a job
It's the perfect game for the unemployed but it's not fun when you can't just dump unlimited time into it

what happened, bros...
people grew up and realized how moronic screaming political slogans at each other was

>add gays as a slayer task
>use maple blackjack to crush homosexuals skulls
Still playing it.
It's the ultimate comfy game if you just want something to grind in while you watch videos or listen to audiobooks.
>Hairline
It’s over
I got something to 100 I think maybe cooking? And after like five minutes asked myself
>Why did I just do all that
Never played again.
You wanna know why I got two 200ms? Because it's fun
HERE IN
DUCK
I never played it. It was just a game for the biggest normalgays to play.
because my life became so bad that i couldnt even spend time in my escapism anymore. i had to face reality
