Why didn't the Pokemon fanbase lose their shit over the ACTUAL clones? Palworld barely even plays like Pokemon(It's mostly Ark) yet they go crazy and claim it stole from it, while all these games with almost identical gameplay get away with it? Make it make sense.

I hate nu-pokemon and won't play palworld but it seems obvious to me. The artstyle between pokemon and palworld is nearly identical while all of the other games in your image at least try to have a style on their own. Palworld just looks like amalgamations of random pokemon without any thought put into it.

I'm neither. There are some similarities with some designs, obviously, but that's natural and the same can be seen when comparing pokemon designs to things that came before it. Nothing can truly be 100% original.

Because people are desperate for pokemon. Trying to a get good virtual pet adventure experience out of modern pokemon or palworld is like trying to get blood from a stone, but where else are they going to get it?
