It didn't really looks interesting enough and the demo wasn't that great to me. It felt kind of budget, but at the same time enormous. Like if a Yakuza game got a huge budget, but it's all taped together really loosely and lacks some attention to detail.
That and the previous game got an upgraded complete version with meaning hours of new content, so why would I buy Rebirth in its unpatched state?

I did. Pretty fun, but repetitive with the world Intel stuff. Beautiful animation, cutscenes, and characters. The character dynamics were comfy as frick. Side quests were way better than remake. Story is just fine as well when it's not getting into BS multiverse nonsense. Zack segments were pretty lame too.
All in all a solid experience. I love ff7 but am not such a butthurt die hard fan of the OG and rage that this isn't a true remake. Curious to see what direction they go with the ending.
I didn't care for the "improved" combat, "dynamic" plot (devices), "variety" of "gameplay", and I'm not going to buy a PS5 for even more "enhancements"
