Why didn't you clock 500 hours in ER if you got the game in 2022?

I will when the DLC came out
because its a 90 hour game
150 hours at least unless you are missing huge chunks of side content like the eternal cities or haligtree etc.
I did all of that in about 100 hours
no i went through all of that lol. idk how it took you that long.
because i clocked about 400 and got bored
It was boring.
Mike Tyson
>not naming him Ty, Son Of Mike
I was much faster in achieving all my goals than you?
How are you so shit at the game that it takes you 500 hours?
My first playthrough was about 80 hours. I tried starting a few new characters but I always got bored a few hours in. I don't think I have much more than 100 hours clocked.
I haven't even played every soulslop game for that long combined. I have every achievement/trophy.
I'm steadily making progress through my RL1 regionlocked run. I'm just playing other games.
Currently at 300 hours I think
All one playthrough. I'm coming back when DLC drops, i'm right before radagon
Isn't that a bit far?
iirc point of no return is before killing maliketh
I put like 200 in it. It's fun but I don't understand how people are ending up with these 100+ hr first playthroughs. That's how long it took me to get all the chivos, and I was doing all the dungeons I could find and trying out new builds and stuff the whole time.
Because I beat it once and it sucked.
Isn't this the guy who died to Soldier of Godrick
No. The thread isn't that old. You can read it in the archives.
It's from 2022 anon. That was 2 years ago. This guy was exposed a while ago.
>This guy was exposed
Those were my posts and webms. By all means, show me whatever shitpost you think "exposed" me as having had trouble anywhere in the game, let alone with a tutorial boss. The last moron I saw habitually shitposting was the one who claimed any footage of bad AI or hitboxes was modded.
That's strange, those are MY posts and webms. Stop larping as me on Ganker, it's pretty pathetic.
>That's strange, those are MY posts and webms
So this is where the butthurt ERgays are at with shitposting?
I won't kid myself, I've made the same copy-pasted quite a few times throughout the past 2 years just to shit on this game. I'm definitely shitposting way more than the defenders, I probably sent them all back to /vg/
Make a webm version of any of the webms in here
but one second longer at the end. If you made them, then you'll have the source filed. I look forward to your shitpost excuse as to why you can't do it.
drag the slider between 0:04 and 0:05 and watch the moronic playable character walk through the fricking sword. Checkmate, shazamtroonBlack folk
that ash of war also has amazing tracking if the player uses it too, fair imo
>literally longer than a 1600 word essay
Get a substack/medium account.
>he's still coping with his wall of seethe nobody sane is going to slop through
>after 2+ years
lole
I bet you're the moron who was spamming the original thread assblasted that everything written was correct and people were agreeing with it.
I clocked 1000 hours. Suck my dick.
It's been several years since I clocked that many hours in a game. Invasions and dueling are fun.
I played once, finished in about 170 hours. this game doesn't have enough variety for me to want to finish it again. After the DLC I'll be back.
Dark souls and Nioh 2 are infinitely more fun to replay.
For a game that is first and foremost centered around combat, fighting anything always boils down to:
>quick attack
>strong attack
>roll attack
>dash attack
>jump attack
>ash
>whatever spell/shield/weapon is in your offhand
There's just not that much variety in that regard and it gets old fast. I wish the game had a nioh style approach to its combat, where every weapon class has a very large movepool, combos, unique moves beyond ashes etc. now THAT would make me play 500h+
Simplicity is depth. Better to have a few well made mechanics than a bunch of useless one (Sekiro)
>Simplicity is depth.
That only applies to something as well crafted, precise and responsive as Sekiro where all the bosses are designed around the same mechanics. ER is nothing like that. It just feels like a bunch of shallow options against bosses that aren't designed for them.
Is Nioh 2 well crafted?
Wouldn't really know, I only played it for a few minutes but I hate games with looter mechanics so I stopped playing. My brother had me play till I ran into that early filter boss. I beat it to try out the combat system, then stopped playing. It seemed fine.
not even the most hardcore nioh 2 fan (me) would say Team homie crafts good games. The most criticism you'll hear is for the
>linear souls wanna be level design
>diablo wanna be loot
but personally, my gripes are with the
>dogshit camera
>ugly visuals, particle fx, ground fx
For the action combat itself though, it is at the very top. I'm still having withdrawals because nothing comes close
Yeah, no one complains enough about ORANGE GLOW straight out of Battlefield ruining all of the rather good monster/unique designs.
I discovered everything in two playthroughs and I don't find a lot of the builds to be that fun. And I suck at the multiplayer. I thought I'd play more but I can't see myself doing it again
>And I suck at the multiplayer
If invasions hadn't been utterly ruined, I'd still be playing.
I did, fricker.
doing a randomized run right now
1 playthrough.
Everytime I tried to do another one I got bored.
KNEEL
Man you're really bad at huh, if you haven't finished it in that amount of time
True, I still can't spawn the colosseum boss
All I keep getting are squishy people
>819 hours in
>Probably still stuck on Soldier of Godrick
Fricking lmao
I clocked 1000 hours before hanging it up, right before the coliseum "DLC"
Between Ps5, PS4 version, and PC version with mods. Probably close to 5000 hours but admittedly haven’t played in a couple of months.
i used a trainer from the start and played through as much of the game as i could without having to worry about "getting gud".
even with that, i probably still clocked in around 50 hours before beating it.
will never touch the game again
I did 130 hours on the first playthrough at launch, went Dex/ Faith.
Did not have a good time; burned out.
Went 70-80% through again as a grug Str build: a little bit more fun, bit burned out around Farum Azula. 50ish hours.
Rolled an Int build and summoned a bunch of Spirit Ashes. Less frustrating for sure, currently bashing my head against Malenia. Another 50ish hours.
Started yet another build in anticipation of the DLC, aiming to use Arcane stuff. Dropped it after an hour.
Thank you for reading my blog.
I don't like the open world
My stepmother passed away from cancer just before it came out and for whatever reason just thinking about the game has me thinking back to her and kills my enthusiasm.
I was very close to her through most of my life. I miss her dearly. Also I live in another state and was a few hours late in reaching her before the end.
I’m sorry for your loss anon. I hope one day you’ll be able to give it some peace and to detach the two from each other.
i have no fricking clue how to beat godskin duo + i got bored
they nerfed the fight a bit but you can use sleep if you just want to easy mode it
you just get a meme build with unlimited DPS, kill one and then kill the other before the dead one revives
i have seven characters so maybe i do?
How long does it take to "get good" and do a nohit perfect boss execution style? (assuming you have enough talent to do that) Thousands of hours?
It's only good for a single playthrough.
Because it only entertained me for 8.
I don't know why I come here anymore, I want to talk about video games with enthusiasts only
Imagine i-frame rolling for 500 hours
imagine needing to roll to beat a boss
I've got like 370h, good enough for now. I'll probably hit 500 when the expansion releases.
Because 100 was enough for me to 100% the base game. I'm jump back in when DLC finally comes out.
>playing elden ring for 100 hours even
Because i'm bored of the game now. Waiting for the dlc so that i can replay the game
I didn't get the game because I stopped caring about Souls games when I finished the good one.
I played monster hunter and going to elden ring felt too stiff
Because I clocked 1000 hours in it and earned 300 dollars from modding
Basically paid for itself + Armored Core 6 + ER DLC + Raging Wolf figure when it comes out + From's next game. I don't even know who I am anymore I'm getting too much money.
i clocked 150 and am sitting in post-game waiting warmly for the dlc before i can go to ng+ and platinum it
Because I beat all the bosses in 170 hours a few months ago.
I did three playthroughs and got around 200 hours overall. I'll go back to it when the DLC is out.
But I have?
Because I finished after 100 hours, savescummed for the ending and uninstalled it forever after.
All and all I only missed 2 bosses
I'm at 750 hours now. I find it's best to take breaks and then come back and try new builds. It's the game that keeps on giving.
I have, yet I've only done one playthrough. I spend my playtime co-oping. Invasions are not fun in ER. Dueling is alright, but I just want more PVE content already, so I can whip things to death.
>fight rang rog, fight rang rog, fight rang rog
>barb wiz, barb wiz
>the occasional lock or cler
NOBODY FRICKING PLAYES BARD I'VE LOOKED THROUGH 5 PRE-GAME 15 PLAYER LOBBIES AND COUNTED ALL OF 1 (ONE) TOTAL
FRICK YOU SANTA NEXT TIME YOU WANT PEOPLE DEAD DO IT YOURSELF
DLC fricking when ?
But I've never played this game
I'm waiting for the DLC to drop
Sekiro is my fav game of all time and Armored Core 6 was a lot of fun
Tried Dark Souls 1, finished the tutorial, didn't like it all that much. Then again, I was trying to play it on MKB at the time
It takes 60 to beat and isn't really fun. I'm not humping walls to find another copypaste dungeon or reading a guide.
But I did. And 300+ hours on PS.
I did. The replays were a mistake and Elden Ring was not made to be replayed.
Hit 550 already back in 2022, anon
Because I play these games to explore and I explored everything at 90 hours
Ive broken 500 on one single character without entering NG+
There's really no point either. Elden Ring is the least balanced Souls game. NG+ and beyond just adds even more BLOAT to the endgame. Who the frick wants that with the shitty basic souls combat?
