Lifting data is a problem, I wouldn't care if Pal had Shellder painted green if it used an original model never utilized in a game before
those would survive an actual squint test but I don't think palworld designs would if you could compare them but I don't think you can because they are 3D models and probably puzzled together
I do think they used a program in some way to create some of these because they evoke the feeling that you look at a pokemon or something that comes from some other familiar place but not it's own thing
