No, when the game is solved enough to the point where there's only one right way to play it that is poor design. Pretending to be moronic and ignoring it doesn't magically create gameplay.

criticism is okay, but saying you aren't gonna have fun with a system because there's a way to ruin that fun is just being dense and stupid
for example, P5R released a couple days ago with all DLCs and that includes the ability to summon the strongest persona at level 89 from the instant you unlock the compendium for free, letting you end every single combat until endgame with a single skill
do I think that's fricking moronic? yes
is it gonna stop me from having fun? no, I'll just not use that DLC, or at least wait until I'm at the appropriate level so it doesn't trivialize half the game

That isn't how game design works. Read a book

        >playing a game on a massive world with other players
        >playing a game where you constantly depend on other players to accomplish anything meaningful
        Learn the difference, shit lord.

This kind of attitude comes from autists that only play videogames to make number go bigger.

The reason it's in a dungeon isn't because the game is "forcing" you to play with others. It's because you need a power core to power some machine which is guarded by some guy in the Halls of Infusion and the Halls is a dangerous place for one person to venture into alone.

It's an RPG and this is the RP part.

Let me give you a reality check, most people that don't want to socialized when playing WoW are not shut-ins or shy, or introverts, they just know the average WoW player is an annoying and pretentious shit-eater dumbo, just like you.

Not that guy, but playing a mutiplayer game doesn't mean you have to socialized all the time, or need others to complete every single content.
There are plenty of things you do in WoW that you do by yourself, but you still are playing in a massive world filled with other people around you. It doesn't stop being a multiplayer game just because you are doing something by yourself.

                >expect to complete all or most the content solo,
Literally nobody wants that, not in this thread, or in OP's image. Some people want some of the content that was historically a solo experience to remain a solo experience. Saying "iT's a MuTipLayEr GamE LmAo" is a lazy brain response that implies you can't have some amount of solo content in a MMO.
You can keep responding to claims or opinions that weren't made anywhere, schizo.

Wait hang on, crafting jobs need dungeons to be run to upgrade them? I can understand the frustration then. Crafting/gathering jobs in FFXIV have zero combat and one of the first skills you get is a zero aggro skill that makes enemies ignore you so you can gather in peace. What's the point of forcing non combat characters to do combat?

It has never been possible to progress professions on ungeared characters. In the entire history of WoW. Unless it's requiring Mythic difficulty to get the items/drops for the profession chokehold, there is no fricking reason to get asshurt about this kind of requirement. Mythic 0 being required is bullshit when Normal/Heroic is literally no fricking different beyond attempting to add the weakest artificial gatekeeping for a profession that will end up being worthless once the fricking Raid and Mythic+ opens. But something tells me this isn't coming from that kind of scenario and instead this lazy homosexual is just asshurt they have to queue LFD.
