you're computer is shit
probably not using hardware acceleration because linux is shit, you can enable it for your browser, look it up on the arch wiki
I have hardware acceleration on and can see it using the gpu, and it still affects fps or stutters a bit
are you sure you're using your gpu decoder? intel top and nvidia smi have that, not sure about amd
>what is vram guys
>shitty gpu and i3 2000 series
>4gb ddr3
>latest ubuntu distro
Sorry your computer can't play a video and tuxkart at the same time
Without more details it's hard to answer. For now just renice and ionice the video player so the game has higher priority
Use gamemode+gamescope
>gaming on a server OS
>games cope
Haha.
what scheduler are you using on yer loonix install? some are shit, some less so.
They battle from same output devices. Similar happened in 1992 windows 3.1; some DOS mode exe:s battled of the same COM1 device (mouse)
I don't have this problem with Ryzen 7, Nvidia 2080 and 32GB RAM. On Arch Linux btw.
>2080
>Arch
how are the frame-times? I'm really fricking autistic about this...
Your compositor is crapping out, use Wayland
>muh vidya gaems don't work
>use wayland
fricking moron
skill issue
because linux is shit
I have the same problem, hardware acceleration is enabled, webrender is active, nvtop shows gpu usage when video plays, did all the arch wiki bullshit, tried moving firefox profile to tmpfs, still get stutter in other games when video plays in firefox.
linux is shit for these kinds of basic-usability things :/
Why do my native linux games slow down when I run they through Lutris?
