I tried replaying Crack in Time but it kept crashing on the Vorselon's Ship for some reason. I'll probably get it back when I finally decide to go through the Souls games
i7-12700 and RTX3070. Plays the latest slop just fine, and from what I recall Demon's Souls worked without much issue. It might be just an R&C issue as those games tend to be hard to emulate properly
>wtf that sghould be able to run anything
That's what I was thinking, but alas some things are just not meant to be. Or maybe it needs some special ass-backwards hacking to run, like MH3G HD ver (the jap release) for the WiiU
I hate to give consolegays an inch but emulators aren't perfect. They're constantly being worked on to improve compatability. Supercomputers can't brute force software bugs.

cause it's the god damn cells
dev were having trouble running things on native hardware
i wouldn't be surprised if PS4 emulation is faster on the same hardware

The first ps4 emulators will likely be more like a vm than true emulation.

fpps4 exists but its early not a lot of playable games. there are like 5 other ps4 emulatrors that have been announced but are so far earlier than fpps4

>vm than true emulation
how about neither? compatibility layers for x86 consoles seem like a no-brainer.

We should have kept gatekeeping PC from these morons
Try downloading the latest stable pcsx2 release (from 2020) and compare it to the nightly builds
It was dead in the water for an extremely long time until Persona 5 came out and people were desperate to say it was also on PC. Now it's on PC anyway and all that money was wasted.
I honestly don't know what framerate it was running on since I was streaming it to my TV with steamlink but it was stable which all that matters to me.
The later sections of the game where you have a lot of dense forests can kind of look shit though I will say
I loved the PS3. It was my childhood games console.
either you didnt read my post or english isnt your first language

You can't always throw moar hardware at emulator issues.
why not ?

You gotta use the canary patches for the PS3 R&C games

Well, guess I'll have to give it another go. Cheers

same reason autists hate pcsx2
just autists crying about "muh accuracy" because they played 1 game and it had minor graphical glitches
It was dead in the water for an extremely long time until Persona 5 came out and people were desperate to say it was also on PC. Now it's on PC anyway and all that money was wasted.
and mgs4 will most likely be coming to pc now as well so what's the point
>PC "master race" still can't play games from a 2005 console properly
top kek
720p 20fps isn't proper.
anti pirate Black folk
Because it struggles to emulate a crack in time.
Oh, but it runs soulsshit well so its good right.
my ps3 slim that I bought for 60 bucks works way better
720p20fps isnt "way better"
I'm playing a season on Head Coach 09 right now, it's pretty sweet considering it's the only good GM game for football to come out since 09.
I got it for demon's souls and it worked perfectly as far as I could tell. I had way more visual bugs trying SOTC on pcsx2
Just beat Red Dead on it last night
>t. i9 12900k
just tried RDR on it last night for the first time. get a (mostly) locked 30 fps. trying to run any higher just makes it not run
I honestly don't know what framerate it was running on since I was streaming it to my TV with steamlink but it was stable which all that matters to me.

playing Kenzan atm, working pretty well.
>still no eng patch
I would take an incomplete one at this point
Only tech illiterate morons hate rpcs3 and pcsx2
>still can't run infamous decently
frick this shit emulator, who cares about souls garbage.
