But both of those are stall teams?
Why post of you don't even play OU?
Ah yes, Life Orb Rillaboom, that old stall staple

It's almost like smoggies banned everything that's good against stall to artificially make it seem better than it is.
Stall is at its worst right now. Play the game as you would say.
Stall is at its worst because stall is so bad against stall.
If stall wasn't so good, stall would be a lot better.
this post sounds moronic yet it's the best statement on stall in Gen 8
Could you elaborate on that?
It seems like a paradox.
>turn 47
>first pokemon finally dies
damn, I just play the solo games.
Stall is one of these strategies where you have to build your team around it. That however makes your team less viable in general so most people don't want to do that and eventually end up walled by the dude playing stall.
Nah there are plenty of chances to break stall. In fact, usually you can win with just one lucky crit. You can even see some of the chances that the player missed out on whether it was a bad strategy or just a bad prediction.
>usually you can win with just one lucky crit
Suggesting crits as a counter is moronic. Those can beat anything in theory.
I didn't say it was a counter. Just that it happens and costs stall players an auto lost frequently. Stall has actual counters:
>Wish
>Taunt
>pivotmons
>Rocks
>Trapping
>stall has counters
We know anon. But the point is that you have to build around it and make your team worse against not-stall.
No you don't. Just post your elo already.
>OP is a 1500+ replay
>muh elo
If stall was shit why would anyone reach that in the first place?
I never said it was bad. Just that it is beatable. Like I said, the OP video had plenty of moments where a stall mon could have been knocked 0uf with the right guessing. Unfortunately, that team didn't any real answers to Blissey and had LO Rillaboom rather than a real Pivotmon.
>Just that it is beatable
We know.
> Unfortunately, that team didn't any real answers to Blissey and had LO Rillaboom rather than a real Pivotmon.
Because it didn't build for it. The reason for why Stall works is because you either expect it(and make your team less equipped to deal with other strats in the process) or lose.
No, it just didn't make sense to only have real physical attacker while the other takes a million turns just to get going...only to fail due to a burn anyways. You don't need much. Just answers to defensive pokemon which should be on your team anyways.
You can have an answer to a defensive mon, but that's not enough to deal with a stall team usually. Play the fricking game and find out.
Most stall teams get solod by Heatran. Play the game.
>being so mad you don't reply properly
You lost this one. Heatran is an answer to stall only if you make it one.
I'm just tried of giving (you)s to ignorant people. Stop posting.
>he treats (You)s like upvotes
Go back and stay there.
>Heatran is an answer to stall only if you make it one.
It's pretty great wallbreaking and trapper. Also great at taunting
1500 is absolutely nothing in OU
1500 higher than your E.L.O.
You mean 500. You start from 1000
Yes, and your E.L.O. is so bad from losing so much that you went down to 0.
You can't go below 1000...
I can't because I'm not a shitter. But you can.
>Stall is one of these strategies where you have to build your team around it.
Not true. If your team can't deal with walls or ways to check switching your team is ass.
You can have that and still lose to stall because you can't break all the walls.
Do you anons think for a minute when making those posts? Why would anyone run stall if anyone can deal with it so easily? Have you actually beaten a stall team with only one wallbreaker? And if you did, was it a 1200~ elo shitter or an actual competent player?
>Why would anyone run stall if anyone can deal with it so easily?
Because people are ass at offense, even more so then stall surprisingly considering in the case of Stall the room for error is pretty big.
>GIVE ME ATTENTION
No.
>he thinks (You)s are valuable
Unironically get off this site.
You realize that even by including the post number, you're still giving that anon attention. If you don't want to engage, you should probably stop engaging.
Maybe he should also realize that nobody cares about his precious attention, it's just funny watching him pissing and shitting himself over this argument for some reason.

Lol
People build shit teams, that one had no way to break a stall team outside of Rilla + future sight.
This
The team relies too much on passive damage to chip away at opposing mons which is easy to withstand if half ur mons have regenerator and grassy terrain healing them. If you want a better team start with a wallbreaker and build a team around it
>https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8ou-1615292051
In all fairness the guy probably still could've won, he just gave up out of what seems to be frustration and disappointment due to his bird getting burned.
Smoggie psyop.
They've convinced us that stall is powerful. They've banned the best anti-stall options.
People have given up hope on fighting back.
t. Doesn't play the game
I love monkey so much.
>bring a pokemon with taunt and recovery
>stall teams immediately kneel
it's just that easy folks
Stalling against Stall isn't so effective because an entire team does it better. The exception is having Ditto because infinite PP.
>he thinks that's a stall tactic
oh man for a second i forgot everyone here is complete and utter moron
Taunt + Recovery is either stall or a setup, but the second case is also not so useful because Stall teams run Unaware.
Taunt has always been anti-stall.
Sure, but Taunt alone is barely enough. The only thing that can come close to soloing a stall team is a Heatran, but is still one specifically built for it.
If it's not attacking, it's stall, chud.
There's also statusing them, removing items or just tricking a choice item on them.
>The server is restarting soon.
>Please finish your battles quickly. No new battles can be started until the server resets in a few minutes.
>staff also wants the timer to be on.
Stall bad because it ruins Clef's reputation. This is supposed to be a versatile mon jack-of-all-trades, not a stallmon.
