It's a good story to tell your kids, but nobody else will be interested. Stories require struggle, overcoming hardships, conflict, etc.
A straight 100% pure vanilla love story cannot have any of that.
The most you could squeeze out of that story is 'one or both falling for the other and the other not realizing it' which is what is done in most anime and Japanese games.
