Cope you homosexual
I don't even know who this kid is supposed to be. He certainly doesn't look like the Ash I remember.
He looks so fricking moronic, God I hate the Ashime so much
>ASH IS... LE BAD!
>ASH IS... LE BAD
Yes and his shit anime
Not as much as you, gay.
The Ashime is dogshit, deal with it Ashgay
And they will both haunt you for your infantile hatred. Live with it.
Ash exists in the Mega-evolution timeline and so does Alain. You may continue to cope
>Mega-evolution timeline
What does this shitty meme even mean? Every timeline has mega evolution in it, it's just a matter of whether or not it's a known phenomena. ORAS literally shows that it's not some exclusive fluke.
Jessie and James are in the games
Alain was referenced in ORAS and in Masters by Steven
Ash had a cameo in the Totem Mimikyu trial in SM and his Alola hat (called the Hero Cap) can be bought in USUM
>hero cap
Jesus fricking christ, this fricking franchise I stg
"Hero" is almost certainly a bad translation of "shujinko", which means protagonist.
Yes, that's the problem.
They put the ashnime everywhere despite ashgays claiming we can just ignore it.
>Alain was referenced in ORAS and in Masters by Steven
wrong, it's the anime that used that trainer to create alain
Steven only says this if you have the event shiny Beldum in your party, so it's definitely an anime reference, and ORAS came out after the Mega Evolution specials.
>event shiny Beldum
does it have a link with the anime?
>We can already expect stuff with Misty and Brock
lol no
he's already npc jailed in his story to begin with
>does it have a link with the anime?
Yes, Steven's Metagross is shiny in the anime.
They're about to retire him, this will allow him to appear in other media as a normal character.
>Retiring him implies retiring Rica Matsumoto and Ikue Otani
Just like how Toriyama will retire Goku and One Piece will end in 3 years.
He'll still exist, he just won't be the main character or main focus anymore.
I don't think they'll remove him as the MC but they have gradually been phasing out Jessie and James. Prior to recent episode, they've had fewer and fewer appearances. But Rica Matsumoto is too big of a name in both VA/singing to cut off entirely.
If it does happen, I just hope Goh sticks around. Frick Pokemon Go and its affect on the rest of the series from the games to the TCG.
I hope Goh doesn't stick around*
OH NONONONONONO PFFFT AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NICE MODEL THERE ASHY BOI
I see they're going for the low-poly aesthetic
OH NO NO NO, LOOK AT THE SIDE OF HIS FACE
They're also adding another Hilda alt, with a Shiny Grapploct as her Pokemon
Saving for Hilda
Pokemon Puzzle League, Masters, and technically SM with Satoshi-Gekkouga and hat pikachus. Arguably protag in Yellow is Ash as it follows anime based events and features Jessie and James too. Oh yeah and a photo of him is present in the abandoned Mart with the Mimikyu
Marshadow!Korrina
How many times has Ash himself actually appeared in a game?
1.5
pokemon puzzle league and???
Masters, the game we are currently talking about in this thread at this moment.
What about the picture of Ash and Pikachu in Sun and Moon?
Not a playable character yet, him and Chuck are just NPCs in story quests
I would be hyped but dropped the fricking game ages ago after i maxed My dawns the gameplay fricking bores me
So how's he gonna work story wise? Dropped in from another universe, or is everyone just gonna suddenly acknowledge their good buddy famous world champion who no one happened to mention until this point?
>he thinks they have a plan
>Dropped in from another universe
Probably this. Lear uses Hoopa to bring trainers to his artificial island.
The game takes place in an alternate timeline anyway. An example of this is that the events of SwSh happened, yet Leon is still Champion, and Eternatus wasn't caught by the protagonist (Gloria). Instead it fled after being defeated, and Leon catches it in a Masters story event.
jesse and james are also in and dont interact with anyone besides each other and some random npcs, despite there having been multiple team rocket events. ash's story event will probably just be a re-enactment of your typical anime episode with jesse and james
also pic related, his sync move background is soul
>Hoopa drops him
>Oblivious moron talksmacks everyone he's familiar with.
We can already expect stuff with Misty and Brock. Would be curious about other ones.
I hope he is stay away from Game!Serena
He might actually end up liking that one because she's not ugly kek
So Ash is leaving the anime right?
Why is his hair starting to grey?
25 years of being 10 are about to catch up to him
Imagine getting triggered that Chadtoshi is in Pokemon Masters
>Ash
>Chad
Fricking kek
God the new anime artstyle is so shitty.
Careful, you'll upset the SMtrannies.
Satoshi was already in Masters, his alternate universe counterpart being there doesn't make much sense
>Seething this hard
I can only laugh at you
That being said, even if you don't like Ash, his presence in the games feels like a matter of when at this point, rather than if.
The anime has debuted a number of Mon and formes, not to mention full on creating them in such instances of Lugia and Ash-Greninja or Pikachu's slimmer look which was created to make it easier to animate and emote.
The spin-offs have had a number of anime references over the years and there have even been some that directly reference/adapt it (Yellow, Puzzle League, Alan referenced in ORAS, the photo of Ash in SM).
Ash himself probably exists in the main series, albeit not in the same way that he would in the anime. And speaking purely from a marketability standpoint, Ash is more recognizable (for better and for worse) than Red to the vast majority of both fans and enjoyers of the series.
Ash being in Masters shouldn't even be that surprising since Jessie and James are already in and have their anime VAs to boot (in a game where all the VAs are industry pros rather than reusing the 4kids/TCPi cast).
You should save the seethe for Pokemon Hot Red and Lime Green in 2026 which will be Kanto reboots for the Super Switch and feature Ash as the champion of the modern Kanto region
>and feature Ash as the champion of the modern Kanto region
They would never do something that based.
>Ash himself probably exists in the main series, albeit not in the same way that he would in the anime.
Ash doesn't exist in the games moron, I don't know where did you get this headcanon
>Ash is more recognizable (for better and for worse) than Red to the vast majority of both fans and enjoyers of the series.
>vast
Not true at all
Anime references doesn't mean anything at all, they are just easter eggs nothing more
The picture in SM is a physical thing that exists, not just a reference. Red is like 20 by the events of SM, Ash existing in some capacity is not farfetched. He's definitely got some sort of presence in the Mega timeline.
And yes, he is more recognizable. You show someone who loves the games and hates the anime an image of both? They'll recognize both. You show someone who was a fan in the 90s both? They'll definitely know Ash. Even people who have never seen the anime will likely know OF him in some capacity given how prevalent he is in much promotional material. Hell, there's STILL people out there who will call Red and Blue "Ash and Gary". Just because we turbo autists who get super pedantic about it exist online doesn't mean we're the norm.
You said fans and enjoyers of the series which means high percentage of them still knows Red very well because Red was present in RGBY and as a superboss on Mt. Silver which everyone recognizes him as the overpowered dude which I played as in the first game, also in other games too he was a NPC. Red is a known chracter even among anime fans who never played the game because of Orgins
>The picture in SM is a physical thing that exists, not just a reference
That is a blurred pic you moron, that doesn't hold any value at all whatsoever
>Clearly of Satoshi and Pikachu
>NOOO IT HAS NO VALUE IT COULD BE ANYONE!
Seethe and dilate. He's right; normalgays still refer to Red and Green as Ash and Gary.
He said Ash "probably" exists, indicating that it's speculation, not headcanon. You are delusional if you really believe Ash is not far more recognizable than Red.
That isnt a good thing dumbass, and everyone knows red because everyone has played gsc or hgss
I didn't say it was a good thing, and neither did the original poster, which is why he said for better or for worse. Learn English.
>everyone knows red because everyone has played gsc or hgss
Not even close to everyone who played those games even beat the pokemon league, let along then went through all of Kanto and Mt. Silver. EVERYONE who has ever played pokemon knows who Ash is, and so do many people who haven't. You have no point, you know I'm not actually wrong, you just want to argue for no fricking reason because you take issue with reality.
Casuals literally think Ash and Red are the same character, because they originally were, and Tajiri refers to them as one and the same in interviews. It wasn't until Gen 2 that the game versions of Ash/Satoshi and Gary/Shigeru were given different names to set them apart. But Ash is definitely the more recognizable one. You'd see people call Red "Ash" all the time, but you'd never see anyone call Ash "Red".
http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,2040095,00.html
>originally
They still are. Ash/Satoshi and Red were both default names for the character in both gen 1 and 3, anime Ash is literally just the anime version of Red. There's a couple manga adaptations that use the Satoshi name too.
>Ash himself probably exists in the main series, albeit not in the same way that he would in the anime.
Yes because Red IS Ash.
>Ash's first appearance in a video game
>he looks like a generic youngster now
lmao.
>Ash's first appearance in a video game
you're baiting right?
As if a western only puzzle game reskin counts.
>NOOOOOOOOO!!!! HE'S NOT IN MY HECKIN BASED JAPARINO VERSION SO IT DOESNT COUNT!!!!?!?!
cope
Ash is slowly becoming my favorite part of the franchise. I used to dislike how he did things like how he wouldn't fully evolve some pokemon, how he would ignore the type chart, etc. But I realized it's all endearing in its own way, Ash respects his pokemon so much that he would let them stay in whatever form they preferred, and he trusts in his bros and himself so much that he doesn't care about the type chart or any game mechanic. Ash is based.
shiy taste
OH NOO BROS!!!
222222222222
The galar pokemon and Ash's colors are so much more vibrant and they stick out like a sore thumb, wtf
Seeing Ash with game-colored Pokemon is in general awkward.
Literally the only monster not used by anyone else is Dracovish.
Never stopped them before
Red has Charizard, Leon has Charizard, and the player character can get their own Charizard. The difference lies in the stats and attacks.
>MC's Charizard has Flamethrower and Fire Blast
>Red's has Heat Wave and Blast Burn and can Mega Evolve
>Leon's has Hurricane, Earthquake, and Inferno and has the highest stats in the game, only surpassed when Red's Mega Evolves and by Serena's Zygarde-Complete
i hope this version of Ash taught Dracovish Fishious Rend because his anime version sucks ass for spamming ice spam all the time
lmao moron
Show me real proof then. Hah! You can't. Because Dracovish has only used Ice Fang in actual fights.
https://www.reddit.com/r/respectthreads/comments/o5o110/respect_dracovish_pokemon_anime/
Ash's Dracovish used Fishious Rend twice, once to break bunch of rock and again to eat Gengar's shadow ball. You can find the gif on this site.
>plebbit
Yeah. No. That was bite, you negative IQ troglodyte. Go back.
Dracovish doesn't know Bite, that was Fishious Rend.
His Dracovish does know Fishious Rend, that was the second move it used. It started out knowing Water Gun, Fishious Rend, and Ice Fang, and learned Dragon Rush later.
that's Bite, you troglodyte
NTA but this is bite in the anime
that's crunch you moron
This is crunch though
>XY
>Canon
Lmao
>moving the goalpost
>biting doesnt involve any actual biting anymore
>its all just energy attacks
If it was Bite, the teeth would be orange, not blue
show me a webm proving it all then. you can't. fricking liars
Soulless betrayal fanfic team
Based ash saving this flop game, lmao he is the most popular character
The game was already still popular without him Ashgay, kys
Since characters from the anime are ok, those from colosseum and gale will come too right ...
why are you guys playing that shit ass israelite game
cry about it
Redsister........?!
The cooler version of our moronic, mute character is taking over the games now...
Ash is literally Red but better in every way
Cope. He's going to be the best character in your shekel farming game.
I fricking hate his Dragonite and Lucario sooooo much.
the game is dying so ash is emergency button
>Assh
I Sleep
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
This would be really weird? Game Serena was designed as a young adult. And belongs with Calem.
That's Y tho
Cringe. Serena is for Ash and no one else
I just checked and he's not in. When does he come out?
The explanation for Ash got there is that he was preparing for the Masters Eight tournament but then got teleported to Pasio
Keep him on Pasio and end his shitty anime
The tournament has already started in the anime, so this is a what-if scenario, or possibly what his off-screen training session while Gary and Goh were catching Regidrago and Regeleki was.
His story event has him help Tina (pic related) with her Flareon's rebellious phase. Lear also shows up for a bit and talks to him
>Engame was iseaki tier
what a twist
Tina is cute, CUTE!
I hope they finally retire Ash, what a piece of shit protagonist
They won't retire Ash, they'll just retire the current version of Ash by having him beat Leon and become the new Monarch, then the Gen 9 anime will be a full-on reboot with a new Ash
It's even the fricking ugly nu-design instead of classic Ash.
just like every nushit design in pokemon masters
Of course they're going to use the design that's actually in-line with the modern Pokemon artstyle. Classic Ash would look out of place alongside modern Sugimori-styled characters.
kris entered the chat
Doesn't really make sense. Ash is a plothole of a character to throw into masters.
He's literally teleported from the anime universe into the Masters universe
I want to see him interacting with the characters he knows from his universe.
Ohnonono Calemsisters we're in trouble! Ash is going to steal Greninja and then ate Serena in front of Calem ohnonono
Game Serena is at least 17, and I doubt she's into /ss/
>Ash gets in
>Wes and Michael still missing
It's over. They're never getting in.
Next DLC, Ash vs Orre Champion
GROOVY
His event ends with a "to be continued", so he'll probably show up again in the future
I wouldn't have hated it if they went back to the classic, ash is so fricking ugly now, there is no defending it
>ash is so fricking ugly now, there is no defending it
Ashgays find a way, but they been consuming literal shit for 20 years, so it's not that surprising.
If he gets added as a playable character, not just an NPC, Dracovish should be his partner. It's the only Pokemon that isn't shared with another character, and his Dracovish is canonically the only one in existence in the anime.
>ANIMEN
