I got dangly balls it does not feel good to have them swing from and fro. Besides that's how you get testicular torsion.

Sometimes when I'm naked I like to spread my legs and wiggle my hips so that my balls slap back and forth between my thighs. Then I'll thrust my hips so my penis slaps back and forth between my belly and my balls. I usually finish with a circular flourish. It doesn't feel as nice as my dick and balls slapping around, but I feel any performance is not complete without a visual component.

wizards are actually just based on priests. studied christian monks who thought they could summon demons, stonehenge druids instead of shit in the woods druids, all kinds of asian priests that thought writing stuff down on paper made a magic barrier against evil. even gandalf was a divine servant sent down to help mortals and all these groups irl wore these kind of flowing robes - the class simply drifted towards magic science man that reads books to get superpowers due to decades of "fundamentals think me and the game I play are bad, so I think they're bad" pushing the primer INT based caster away from religion and towards enlightened atheism

you can do the same thing with a coat

the coolest caster is the esoteric and rare wizard-cleric, so maybe that "enlightened atheism" is still as gay as it was 20 years ago.

because as lot of people did at the time? Wizards basically wore normal traveling clothes than dress like they're going to war.

    >Why don't the guys ordering airstrikes wear a full plate carrier?
    Because they don't need to.
Wizards are the technicians and back line damage dealers.
    Also
    Iron dampens magic.
So steel armor is out. Which is most armor.

Have you ever worn a robe before? If it was not considered wierd I would wear one 24./7 because that shit is comfortable. If you don't need armour then it is the thing to wear.

Aren't you dressed right now? It comes from the same word, to be covered in cloth and most wears included body length measures. Plenty of medieval shirts are actuallly knee length.

In my game we specifically rule that any alteration to the form does not affect clothes or equipment. Robes are easiest to unclasp and remove so that when you turn into a bear you can easily cover yourself up afterwards when you turn back to a human instead of sitting there like an idiot with a pile of ripped clothes from hulking out.

When you have shapeshifting magic, its a good idea to wear loose clothing. Obviously that won't make much difference if you turn into something either very large or very small, but a lot of the middle ground gets a lot more comfortable if you can minimize the risks of ill-tailored clothing.

wizards are based on characters who were either deliberately trying to appear unassuming/humble or were just wearing it because it was the style of the time, and it stuck around because it's also literally the only thing that keeps casters even kind of balanced since magic is now quick, convenient, costs nothing and has no risk of failure
