Dawn is just so much more appealing than Lucas that it broke my rule of playing as cool manly characters. She is an icon and a quintessential avatar of the pokemon world. It cannot be understated how appealing she is and then youve got goober-ass Lucas hes probably the worst MC in the series. Same goes their reincarnations in Legends Arceus.
Dawn in Diamond kinda fricked me up at the ripe age of 12 or 13, not gonna lie. I became super comfortable with girl characters and learned to identify with them and even prefer them. It became kind of a meme in my life that i always picked girl characters I think I got dangerously close to this shit mentally. don't do this, I encourage gender dysphoric anons to find balance and love themselves.

I've always picked the male character except for BW and Platinum.
Whether I play as the guy or the girl depends entirely on how horny I am while making the decision. If I'm not horny, I play as a guy. If I am horny, I play as the girl. If I'm horny and the girl is unattractive, then I go find some porn and end up not even playing.
