There's a bit to like, but idk maybe it's the shadowmasters that can warp you to the beginning or can split into three and become big again if it grabs you while small. Probably the most annoying enemies in the game.
If you see their shadow underneath you/hear their falling sound, cast Din's Inferno. It will catch them mid air and kill them instantly. Alternatively walk in circles until they hit the ground and kill them afterwards.
The frickers who split in three, you can also kill with Din's. Hit the big one until it splits and cast Din's Inferno.

Oh and I should say that you may need to practice the timing a little bit. When you hear them falling or see the shadow, don't immediately cast Din's, but wait like 1 second.
When you split the big one with your sword, cast Din's fast enough that the little frickers can't run out of radius. Took me a few tries as a kid but once I got it down, it always worked and does to this day. Makes these suckers tolerable.
Lo-fi and every Black person that takes any piece of music, puts it into Fruity Loops, slows it down, adds reverb, slaps on demo-drump-loop-17.wav, and sidechains it is unironically that needs to be purged off the face of this fricking Earth.
you sound frustrated that people who don't know as much about making music as you do are finding success making something that people like. pretty cringe bro nglfam
best music (unironically)
cool mindfricky elements
wallmasters
poes (always a based addition)
very aesthetic especially the courtyard area
one of the best bosses in the game
Has a decent main goal (frick the Poes up), music is alright, the green looks good, has spooky shit, nicely showcases Adult Link for the first time, stuff like that
>set in abandoned manor deep in the forest >creepy soundtrack that sounds nothing like what you'd expect from a forest level >haunted by ghosts >pant-shitting introduction to wallmasters >encountering pic related for the first time
It took everything you'd expect from a forest level and flipped it on its head in every aspect but location
well I just played through it guys, and the fire temple back to back. I think fire temple is so much better it's not even funny. love fire temple. but I did enjoy forest temple and it was better than I remembered. but frick the whole key down the well thing I reckon, it was out of the way and kinda unneeded
I wish that franchise didn't kill itself. It was a really fun game.

I believe.
or rather I wish it would come back influenced by games like Prey or Breath of the Wild.
it was a lot of fun to couch co-op that and fight over food, looking for all the macguffins to unlock levels.
I know it's a meme of a meme by now, but there's just so much mystery and liminality around it, only this temple does it for me for some reason, the Lakebed Temple from Twilight Princess comes second
We don't know and that's what I love about it, it's so empty, cold and desolate, so deep in the forest and lost to time no one knows it's origins, purpose or even it's existence
>but there's just so much mystery and liminality around it
I think OOT is full of this. I could say this is because of the limitations of the system. But I wouldn't be surprised if some of it is intentional. Reminds me of the dark caves of TR1 that were supposed to be sky boxes. But because of limitations they rendered everything as black cave.
It is, if you were around back then. You had shit like the sphinx level as an example of what he is talking about.

Did you not have a PC to go with your n64? Or playstation? Or a saturn? There was originally gonna be a N64 version too but development fell through on that.

I agree 100%, the only reason I picked up on it this time was I saw TR1 used in another thread just minutes before so I assumed it was the same game both times (there was context for the other time it was mentioned)
I love low detail poly, everyone says early 3D games are ugly, that 2D sprites are timeless, but I think they miss the forest for the trees, low detail polygons is a style much like 2D sprites are a style, and if we are going to play the one looks ugly card, then lets be objective and just say it's all ugly, all old games are ugly by merit of not being as good looking as tech allows in 2023, no?
auuugggghhhh AAAUUUUaaauuuu auuuugggh
why are you all just npc no brain robots
EH REH
I wonder what this guy's even up to these days. Do you think he became a Stalfos?
ree ree ohwehh
ree ree ohwehh
because its cool and mysterious vibe
Why don't you like it it's pretty good, not too complex but not too simple, the music/ambiance is really what makes it memorable

Sweet, an excuse to post one of my favorite videos.
Holy shit I haven't thought about this show since elementary school
here's an actual good rendition and not a garbled meme shitpost
>Get excited that someone did a sick remaster of Matt's NEW Forest Temple
>It's just Koji's version
Lame. Gay.
>lofi hip hop shit
behead yourself, zoomer.
I'd rather listen to the garbled meme shitpost.
>is that some hecking lo-fi hiphop???
>i'm gonna zooooooooooooom!

I miss Eyewitness man
KOJI KONDO HIRE THIS MAN
Pure, unadulterated K I N O.
It's the best dungeon in the game, if you don't like it you will not like others
that's not true because I like fire dungeon, and water temple is the best in the game.
>gives you nightmares
>it's impossible to talk about this temple on Ganker due to EHH REH posting.
Honestly it's frunny.

what was so hard about it?
i just got lost and confused and ran around in circles for ages
you're dumb then
yeah i know
Has a decent main goal (frick the Poes up), music is alright, the green looks good, has spooky shit, nicely showcases Adult Link for the first time, stuff like that

Forest temple is my second favorite dungeon after spirit temple
OOT Forest Temple literally became the design template for every dungeon in BOTW and TOTK.
It's just that good.
isometric oot wen
why is this so legit, wtf holy shit
zelda but it looks and plays like old diablo, imagine
I love Gauntlet Dark Legacy!
I wish that franchise didn't kill itself. It was a really fun game.

do you reckon it's an old castle with an overgrowth through it?

what's that
He is obviously talking about tomb raider.
so obvious

Tomb Raider 1
I love this game's look, games from the 90's just have that atmosphere that even games that try to imitate the look can't perfectly nail
I liked water temple better. gays get salty about boot swapping but it never bothered me.
The ship of harkonnen? Wtf does dune have to do with ocarina of time?
Entrance is cool and the poes are cool, but yeah the interior isn't very good. Feels like a bunch of half baked ideas cobbled together.
