Also, it's honestly not that bad. I still find decent thread once in a while whole browsing Ganker and many slower, more niche hobby boards are good places to discuss stuff. Where else (on the internet, that's it) you will find quality hobby discussion now? Internet forums are things of the past, replaced by Facebook (which bans you randomly and have no actual customer support) and Discord (which is closed circlejerk). There is also Reddit but it have people afraid to tell you how much your work sucks because muh reputation, muh downvoting.

I unironically get shit done with interspersed Ganker browsing. It's YouTube that ruins everything for me. YouTube has algorithms designed to suck you in, Ganker doesn't.
I remember back in 2016 I managed a six month streak without Ganker, facebook, youtube; or any other form of social media. It was glorious, sadly I went back to square one during one boring weekend. I'm grateful I don't have more serious addictions, I can't imagine how being addicted to drugs should be.
