Never bothered with GTA5, dunno what you're talking about, and have never even tried to avoid spoilers. It's amazingly easy to avoid things like spoilers if you care, especially for GTA where most people don't actually bother to play through it all.

Singleplayer was a fricking slog, gameplay is janky garbage and Online is garbage outside of heists. Not going to waste my time with GTA6, my standards are too high these days.

When I installed and executed GTA IV I couldn't believe my eyes, the driving physics, the npcs, the dialogues, the town. The Drunkenness, fricking drunkenness.
When I installed and executed GTA V, I didn't got that experience whatsoever, everything looked and felt cheap, in all aspects of the game. HOPEFULLY GTA VI does it for me and I haven't played RDR 2 yet, and I know that game gave the same experience as GTA IV to many players.
I have a PS5 but I don't think I care as much about the story or getting it spoiled this time around as I did with Red Dead 2 so I'll probably just not double dip and wait the extra year for it to come to PC
