DD1 was a famously unfinished and unrealized game and people were attracted to the like 30% of the actual vision that made it in.

I did play it because it's free on PC, I did the wind temple and got the phantom bird, it was pretty cool but then I went around exploring the underground/world/sky islands until I cried tears of boredom.

ToTK was the same map copied twice with a few changes, the sky is pretty small too. DD2 is or at least is supposed to be way different than the ToTK situation.

DD1 was the most ambitious game ever conceived and I want to see that vision realized.
You have to understand that Dragon's Dogma is the God Hand equivalent for millenials and older zoomers. Although that itself might be too much of a compliment since God Hand is enjoyable from start to finish once you get over it's shortcoming. No one defends the start and end of Dragon's Dogmsla.
