The N64 and the Gamecube were catalysts for an unprecedented wave of autistic manchildren. I suspect their coincidence with the mass public adoption of the internet and insular early forum culture was the perfect storm for producing socially stunted deviants.
3D Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, Smash, Mario RPG's, 3D Mario's, Pokemon etc. Quality aside, these are all franchises with notoriously degenerate and overzealous fans.
The same occurred with the competing consoles of the time, Playstation, and Sega, especially in the case of children's franchises like Sonic and Crash Bandicoot. But Nintendo's strict and primary focus on media aimed towards young children has resulted in a disproportionate abundance of hapless freaks whose predilections never evolved beyond that of their ten year old selves. Worse, they clung on, and warped into crooked, misshapen mockeries, delving into the pornographic and obscene.
The N64 and the Gamecube raised a few generations of fatherless children who only play bad games. They are so indoctrinated in their mediocre libraries that they will flat out refuse to try games either not on or not by Nintendo. It's a true case of mass psychosis and schizophrenia overtaking a sizable group. These people will never recover.

Ton of poorgays here, I had my own pc, a Pentium 4 + geforce 4 ti and a gamecube during the early 00s and we were below middle class, imagine not being able to afford a 99$ console lmao.
I mostly played star wars games on it, some my my first memories are of being like 4 having half days and having a small window of time getting to fly around in bounty hunter burning people alive before school
