People say they do Johto the worst, but other than like shilling Rotom phones, I don’t see how Sinnoh is treated any better. They couldn’t even give Gen 4 pokemon new shit in PLA. At least Hoenn mons got megas in ORAS.

Sinnoh’s starter’s actuallt show up in things and weren’t made into Shitmons to make Kanto starters look better, Sinnoh isn’t treated like Kanto’s backyard.
DPP is sheer Kinnoh goodness and you'll never change my mind on that. The slowness literally isn't even that bad you guys just exaggerate the frick out of it as an issue. It doesn't take THAT much longer to beat gen 4 than other gens and at least part of that is due to them just being longer games in general
it’s not just the slow engine. they could made character redesigns, improved honey trees and great marsh, expanded on the contests and secret bases like oras did, added gen5+ pokemon.
Oh no, I totally 100% agree, as much as I like DPP I'm still peeved that BDSP didn't take the opportunity to truly improve the foundations that DPP laid. But as a Sinnoh fan I hardly feel starved, I still have the originals which I genuinely like, and PLA offers a nice new take on things while keeping the feel of Sinnoh as a region alive.

Why do people try to downplay the slownes of gen 4? The HP bars are slow, the region is covered in mud, fog, and snow that do nothing but slow your movement, the bag is clunky, the text boxes are slower, etc.
