>sold better than every Xenoblade game, every Pikmin game, every Metroid game not named Dread, every Fire Emblem game not named 3 Houses
ARMS was a success, no matter how much you trannies seethe about it.
>dropped players by chunks >clearly desperate for people to come back. >everything died shortly after the last update. >dev team got locked into Mario Kart Tour & 8D >comic silently cancelled >last remnants of player base were the smash gays rostergayging at the tournament.
Sales aside, the chances for a sequel are foggy as frick.
Ever Oasis = secret of mana sequel except the name was changed because of legal reasons.
It had the same director and many ex square people on the staff.
If more people bothered to find out who makes games,. things like ever oasis would have sold ten times more.
Astral Chain is successful too, Nintendo outright bought full ownership of it from P*. The odd one is ARMS, it sold 2 millions but Nintendo attitude over it is bizarre
I can't explain why, but I really liked this game. Could not explain it for the life of me. Something about going out adventuring into the harsh outer wilds and into dungeons to bring prosperity to your cute little chibi village just called out. Hardly the first game to do it, and it wasn't done exceptionally well. But I still really had fun with it. If the gameplay was more polished and your town more interactive, it easily could've been a solid 8/10 game.
>Make new IP
>Release it on a dying platform after its successor already released
Things would have been different with Ever Oasis had they released it during the 3DS prime, right?
Comparing ever oasis to americanized trash
Glad it failed Nintendo going full eSports bullshit would've been disaster
Ever Oasis didn't have the ugliest artstyle known to man so yeah, probably.
I remember the night this came was being live tweeted and everyone was hype until they saw the artstyle
That game was complete dogshit that ran at single-digit FPS
Ugly as sin too
>can't marry hot genie chicks
This game had one job and it failed.
A hot genie girl has been enough to carry a thoroughly mid platformer for decades.
Please don't make me think about Esna. My heart is still a void.
Why would they put time and effort into anything when those remakes and wii u ports are right there and people buy them anyway?
this game came out when everyone moved on to the Switch
>Console Launch Release
>Fully Supported
>Eagerly Awaited.
>Highly Beloved
>Vast Recognition
>Dropped at Week 3.
All the Heart & Soul lost thanks to a flawed gameplay. What a shame.
Holy shit this game had been erased from my memory until now
>sold better than every Xenoblade game, every Pikmin game, every Metroid game not named Dread, every Fire Emblem game not named 3 Houses
ARMS was a success, no matter how much you trannies seethe about it.
>things that didn't happen

IP can be great and simply not reach wide enough audience to continue working on it. Such is life.
dragalia flopped
arms flopped
labo flopped
code staeam flopped
splatoon floppe din the west
Ever Oasis came too late that's it

It was still a late 3DS game. If they ported it to the Switch it could have done ok.
I have Ever Oasis, but never took the time to play it. It's still wrapped up.
>What is Astral Chain?
>What is Ring Fit?
>What is ARMS?
Man I loved Astral Chain
Maybe I should see if I can't emulate it at 60FPS
Ring Fit is the only successful one, though. Yet it’s a WiiFit spiritual successor so don’t expect much.
Astral Chain is successful too, Nintendo outright bought full ownership of it from P*. The odd one is ARMS, it sold 2 millions but Nintendo attitude over it is bizarre
Time to give the water spirit some good correction
They had one fricking job.
I literally can't think of a game where the PC can marry a genie.
I wish this game had taken off so there would be more art of her giant ass
Be the change you wish to see

Plus I want to frick the lizard girl a lot.
Its the artstyle.
Won't deny that's a factor, but I've dropped worse games that looked better.
Only because it had little girls. Nintendo fans don't give a frick if it isn't Zelda, Pokemon, or Smash.
It lacked barabait
>pokemon
nintendo fans hate pkmon and mario, animal crossing are bigger than that shit
Is it really? I thought it only exploded because lmao it's newest release launched with covid
Animal Crossing is already forgotten, kneel to the squids and spit on the Octos.
Didn’t this game bomb so hard the developers couldn’t make their own games again and were shackled to nintendo remakes?
Nintendo didn't make this game.
Why do zoomers constantly think publisher = developer?
