I always had the next chapter after the swamp kill my replays. Like you're back in the city and my brain just shuts down and wants the game to be over.

For me it's the one after the city, with the calm sunny fields and the island. It's just too quiet, too detached: my interest for the game starts to doze off.

Vizima Confidential was an annoying questline. Interesting, but annoying. At least you could bro it up with Siegfried in the sewers.

I've never finished this game, but I remember when I played it, I stopped right after the swamp, too, right when I got to that city. I think I got the vampire girls card. The game just got so tiring and uninteresting.

Same. I almost quit when I got to the part in the trade quarter. Thank god I forced myself to play to the end of this kino tho.

I liked the FF9 swamps because you got to eat frogs with your freak of nature party member to power up its frog attack

Only game I've ever used a speed up player movement mod. So much fricking running around back and forth. Needs to be sped up.

You do a lot of running around without a clue on where to get quest items iirc.

The entire chapters 2-3 just filters the frick out of so many people because there’s lots of running back and forth and zoomers need something happening all the time to be engaged because they have ADD.

If you speak Polish, never play this fricking game in English. The English version sucks so bad.

The English version is the way it is intended to be played. The polish dub is terrible in comparison

Maybe for later Witcher games but definitely not Witcher 1. So much is lost in the English translation.

New players don't know all the quests available in chapter 2 wich means they will end up going to the swamp multiple times (wich is tiring). A player on subsequent playthroughs can easily get away with only visiting the swamp twice.

It's moronic level design when you have to go around because of bushes that act like an invisible wall and the fact that there's only a small passage which you have to search for over and over again to get access to the area inside the invisible wall.
