because modern female game characters are OBSESSED with talking

Modern female characters are usually in one of two camps. There's the mostly western trend of making female characters strong and independent at the cost of them being less feminine and uglier on purpose e.g. Abby and Aloy

Then you have the characters that are iconic mostly for their porn and not much else such as the Overwatch girls, Pyra/Mythra and 2B.

Female characters from the 80's/90's were able to combine being a badass and strong while still being sexy and interesting characters. These days it's one or the other.

It's a typical leftist position where instead of trying to improve, get better, and rise above the rest, you just lazily declare that everyone is equal, everyone is perfect, so you don't have to try anymore.

They are unable to comprehend what genuine effort and success feels like, therefore they cannot create iconic characters that are impressive, respectable, and/or admirable.

probably the most iconic out of recent times.

Considering now every single prostitute puts on a white wig and calls herself '2B' it's possibly even more influential than Lara Croft ever was.

Chun-Li is outclassed by most of the girls in Street Fighter, and almost all female fighting game characters outside of that series. I'd consider chicks like Ivy Valentine and Mai Shiranui way, way more iconic than Chunners.

I prefer Mai but Chun Li is the 2nd most iconic female character of all time (only behind Lara).

You know how the blue hairs are always assuming that you're a toothless hick and/or that you're incapable of getting laid because you reject their hypocrisy? You know how that's completely delusional and they have to willfully ignore massive segments of the population in order to hold that belief?

            Same shit with you.

Not everybody who goes to that website is a dysfunctional addict. That's like saying that drinking alcohol on the weekends makes you an alcoholic.
                >It does.
The delusional and constantly hypocritical world of prudes.

LMAO. Chun is called the first lady of vidya for a reason.

Chun isn't my favorite girl ever, but I've still probably fapped to her at least 1,000 times in my life. That's what being iconic means.

We do have a semi-recent addition to the list of iconic female videogame characters, though. Notice who they did and did not listen to?

Anime and manga are still pumping them out like crazy, too. Again, who is it that the anime industry still generally ignores but the Japanese videogame industry is constantly checking in with?

It's a mystery why this is all happening. Must just be that everything has been tried in videogames or that millennials are useless or something.

It's a mystery why this is all happening. Must just be that everything has been tried in videogames or that millennials are useless or something.

Let's add another one to the list:

Trying too hard, unironically. Old games used female characters because the devs thought it was a good idea. New games use female characters because the devs feel obligated to. The difference comes through in how memorable or interesting the character is.

Literally anything but listening to a bunch of spite-fueled misanthropes who hate humanity and hate beauty.

Millennials don't make entertainment, the majority of modern writers and artists are Gen Xers.

      >realism
Women literally don't look like left. They literally do look like right. As a matter of fact, right is generally what one would consider to be an idealized female form. Left is literally unrealistic while right is literally realistic.

Stop allowing the left to control the language. You are the one who chooses which words you use.

      >violent female protagonist games
      >realism
No one does anything about this? Expect equal draft in the coming years which will roughly affect female protagonist games. Don't say you've never been warned female protaggays.

Definitely not true. 80s and 90s were good at creating box art mascots because that was very important back then. It's less important in the digital age, and there are still plenty of good examples.

Gamercels are just obsessed with their token females like James Cameron heroines and Kill Bill.

There weren't as many characters back then. That's it.
