Incredible how no one played this shit back then when you look at reviews -- the scores are so high you might think it's a sort of classic. Good thing the players have the last word in this industry, after all.
Carbon is the intended direct sequel to NFSMW but playing MW isn't necessary to it's plot and it has a crapton of cut content that didn't make it into the game.
By the time black box got to working on Prostreet they ditched that format entirely
We don't talk about Undercover.
Undercover was fricking ugly. It took over a decade before I thought Carbon's overly reflective cars looked bad and I didn't even notice brown and bloom filters until they started going out of fashion but Undercover looked bad straight out of the gate
Lmao have you been living under a rock? All of the remaster slop we've been getting has been shit, what makes you think EA doing so with nfs would be any different?
they don't make burnout like they used to (namely burnout 2)
NFS are shit tier racers with terrible AI and are total ricer trash. Midnight Club and Burnout mog it.
Not all the games are ricer shit but they all have terrible AI that both sucks and cheats by teleporting and/or going 300 mph to catch up. Underground and its sequels were successful because they looked amazing. Even today their art design makes them look great in high resolution. car customization the best at the time. It was the right game for a certain that followed all the trends. The driving, track design, and AI were all bad. I'd say they were worse than NFS3.
they tried gaslighting us by releasing a completely unrelated game with the same name 10+ years ago and it fricking sucked. at this point I just want a good arcade racer with good customization and NO zoomer/Black person culture. the soundtrack and writing of unbound were fricking abysmal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=qjwShv5I4Q4
It'll probably only happen if you make it yourself. The good sci fi racers from the past few years (redout, GRIP, ballisticNG) are all made by either fans or original developers of old games that just had more passion for them than anyone else. I like the game but not enough to try to remake it.
the chick that was in the OG MW leaked that they were doing a remake faithful to the original but EA shitcanned it last year. EA executives deserve the 7th layer of hell.
The problem with remastering/remaking really good old games, it that your customers will expect quality games in the future and your workforce is literally incapable of providing that because 95% of them suck at their job.
How many old racing games are actually being remade? or even sold on modern platforms at all? That's fairly easy to do on PC, but It doesn't seem like the publishers think there is demand for it. If they thought it would make money, you think they would do it.
Lightning in a bottle
couldn't recreate the success even if they put real effort in
Also would never live up to fan expectations, no matter how good it comes out its better to just not touch it.
Ultimately it's a job for players, and they've already "remastered" NFSMW(& Carbon iirc)
It's like asking 2K to remaster or rerelease Smackdown Here Comes the Pain or any of their old games, it legally and temporally could not be the same.
Y'know what? You're right.
That's not a TRUE remaster.
Don't ever install it or it will give your computer super-duper aids.
And don't under any circumstances tell your friends, it's an awful game really, filled with coyotes.

They will have to remove the music and probably other brand names. It will be gutted.
Then there's the off chance of some troony shit being added.
Nah, just leave it alone.

I know anon but thats actual reason of price spike regardless. Game collectors are moronic Black folk and massive israelites at same time so they just inflate prices through proxy even though as you pointed out those games were not available on marketplace for years or even decade.
It isn't exclusive to this game. Autobahn Polizei, Darkest of Days, and Culdcept Saga are also shooting up, with Culdcept basically out of reach.
It's worth noting that the other Need For Speed games on the console are just now getting near $20. This is because Most Wanted wasn't on PS3, just PS2 and Xbox besides this version.
I just dusted my 360 recently, gonna see if I can find a copy on ebay before the price skyrockets.
Magna Carta 2 (same artist as Stellar Blade), and Wartech (weird ass fighting game shmup).
Hope on those dicks ASAP, because they will shoot past Most Wanted any day now.
I didn't mind the 2015 title with its cheesy videos, replaying NFSU1 now and its still fun. Finishes carbon last week and it feels blatantly unfinished and buggy as frick, what the frick happened? Also if you are interested theres an indie game called nightrunners which is focuses on Japan loops like C1 with some open world and 90's aesthetic
fpbp
just download the redux and shut up and stop trying to ruin things
>NOOOOO NOOOOOOO IT NEEDS A REMAKE IT MUST BE REMADE
have a nice day zoomer you useless piece of shit.
They already did in 2012, it was awful
2012 was supposed to be a sequel but they changed it mid development for whatever reason.
AI generated video
It's real.
crazy. It’s the same fairhaven map too.
Incredible how no one played this shit back then when you look at reviews -- the scores are so high you might think it's a sort of classic. Good thing the players have the last word in this industry, after all.
Thought carbon was the sequel and 2012 just had more police chase mechanics

We don't talk about Undercover.
>Undercover
ost was kino
WELL WELL WELL WE GOT OURSELVES A BADASS OVER HERE
>it's actually good
NANI?
Undercover was fricking ugly. It took over a decade before I thought Carbon's overly reflective cars looked bad and I didn't even notice brown and bloom filters until they started going out of fashion but Undercover looked bad straight out of the gate
It continues the story but carbon is more about just street racing than police pursuit mayhem.
Lmao have you been living under a rock? All of the remaster slop we've been getting has been shit, what makes you think EA doing so with nfs would be any different?

If you're ok with sci fi games, keep an eye on Aero GPX and Xtreme Formula
on topic of sci Fi racers I'd KILL for a proper sequel or remaster of Xtreme G 3.
It'll probably only happen if you make it yourself. The good sci fi racers from the past few years (redout, GRIP, ballisticNG) are all made by either fans or original developers of old games that just had more passion for them than anyone else. I like the game but not enough to try to remake it.

Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune
It wouldn't be the same without the cheesy FMVs.
"First I'm gunna take your ride, then I'm gunna take your girl, get ready for that!"
the chick that was in the OG MW leaked that they were doing a remake faithful to the original but EA shitcanned it last year. EA executives deserve the 7th layer of hell.
They never leaked anything moron, it was just fricking bait, the reality is that they barely even know what EA is working on
Would've been a cameo at best

Since when ?
You can't remaster without a master lmao what the frick are you on
remaster is in quotes for a reason sophocles
obviously MW Redux is not official
How does this shit qualify as a remaster lmao
It's literally the sloppiest repack ever, and on top of it all it looks like shit
Y'know what? You're right.
That's not a TRUE remaster.

Nah, just leave it alone.
They remake Tony Hawk 1 & 2 and it was great.
If that's true, it's the exception not the rule.
game is too problematic
nfs turned into the most absurdly mediocre racing series in seventh gen
Just play the original
TO THE MOON BBY
>he missed out
OH NO NO NO AHAHAHAHA
>b-bubble pop soon!!
YEP ANY DAY NOW JR
This isnt exclusive to this game. 360 games are going to skyrocket in prices because muttsoft smokes 360 marketplace soon.
Most Wanted hasn't been available digitally for over a decade.
