Your actual answer is >I don't have a use for a handheld
Plenty of people with desktops find handheld PCs extremely useful. I simply play games way more now because of the Steam Deck and I have a good desktop.
I don't see why anyone would want a portable console. Am I supposed to play this at work or while I'm grocery shopping? I don't want to be the bing bing wahoo guy in my neighborhood
but anon
there are so many places you can bing bing wahoo with a deck... >on a plane (alone, with headphones on) >in a car (as a passenger because you can't drive) >on a train (alone, with headphones on) >on the shitter (because your diet is literal trash and you'll be there for an hour) >at the park (alone, with headphones on) >on your bed (alone)
its great
I have a thirty minute lunch period at work in which I never eat, but use the time to do my dailies in genshin. Granted you don’t need a console for that, but I can imagine people doing something similar with other games
You can integrate your game library from Steam or other stores. Otherwise you can manually add what games you have in computer into it. It also works with emulators.
>sold my laptop for the second unit
Do you just have no use for a mobile workstation or are you actually moronic?
Whoops, that was the same question twice, sorry.
I also own a Vita, but since it can't run Linux games, Windows games, N64 games, Dreamcast games, or even PS2 games, I figured I'd buy something that can do all those and more.
NTA, but maybe that's for the best. I didn't wait to buy a Switch, and immediately regretted the decision with drifting joycons and now the charging port is giving me trouble.
I have not used "Steam" or any other DRM-infested "shop" for many years. As I see, it's not really worth it without this "shop". Simply, it's not my device, it's a Gaben's dron.
Which console would be ideal for me? >I hate the physical format >I hate PC gaming >I hate Gabe Newell >I hate Steam >fully anti-PC console throughout >anti-Nintendo console >I only want digital games >I only like Free to Play games
Because I'm poor
I have a desktop.
I do own one. I'm playing VNs on it right now

Bought a chinkheld instead
I love my aokzoe but damn is it ugly
No Todd.
No Buy.
Simple as.
I already have a linux PC
my hacked 3ds is all I need for handheld
I have a desktop and a laptop already.
There's no more middle-class.
If you have to worry about the price of bread, then you're upper-lowerclass.
I do, and I beat vampire survivors, so it's collecting dust until there's another game that isn't better on pc or switch
Why would I want to buy a shitty meme gadget? Ask me to buy PlayDate next.
I'm excited to see Lenovo's handheld pc.
No exclusives, no buy.
I don't see why anyone would want a portable console. Am I supposed to play this at work or while I'm grocery shopping? I don't want to be the bing bing wahoo guy in my neighborhood
>UMMM BUT YOU CAN BING BING WAHOOO WHILE TAKING A SHIT!! AMAZING, RIGHT?!
but anon

Why would I want to bing-bing wahoo in public, especially with headphones on? And my bed is for RESTING, not staring at a small screen.
>And my bed is for RESTING, not staring at a small screen.
mine too, but i have a fricked back so i barely leave the bed anyway.
>my bed is for RESTING, not staring at a small screen.
Sorry to hear you don't use it for comfort

Already own a PC.
What with that interface?
Kinda looks neat
It's playnite with a PS5 theme.
Welp, guess i know what i'm gonna be messing around with this weekend.
Does it require any log-ins from other launchers or something?

we've got two, no regerts.
Controller tablets are moronic and I have a laptop already.
sorry to hear that, sold my laptop for the second unit after realizing it would get way more use. still have two good gaming pc's though.
Sorry to hear that
>sold my laptop for the second unit

I'm literally waiting on mine
I'm not a homosexual pedophile.
But enough about PS5 owners.
I own a vita for portable entertainment as that's what the founding fathers intended.
I also own a Vita, but since it can't run Linux games, Windows games, N64 games, Dreamcast games, or even PS2 games, I figured I'd buy something that can do all those and more.
why would i need a PORTABLE device when i rarely leave my room??
when i leave my room the last thing i need to do is play MORE video games.
>why would i need a PORTABLE device when i rarely leave my room??
play in bed
you could use it as a stepping stone for getting out of the house, perhaps find a job before the parents pass away.
waiting for the mid-life of a future model/hardware revision, the chink alternatives will never compete
thanks for beta testing
You're gonna be waiting 5+ years for something that might never even come. This is valve we're walking about
NTA, but maybe that's for the best. I didn't wait to buy a Switch, and immediately regretted the decision with drifting joycons and now the charging port is giving me trouble.
>drifting joycons
Every modern controller drifts. You can fix it with a hall effect kit.
The charging port is shit tho yeah.
You are kenough

They don't sell it in my third world country, Australia.
Tried elden ring on it. It's okay so far. Runs surprisingly well.

A phone
Reasons why a Smartphone would be my ideal platform for video games
Because it literally ticks every box on your list
in those you are right
I also have Android
What free to play games from google store do you recommend?
I want games and I generate that no one can play on Steam, or Nintendo would play
Sounds like you'd want a quality android handheld. I hear the Logitech g cloud is pretty good.
maybe a miyoo mini plus
i love playing gran turismo 4 on mine
What would I need it for?
Battery life is poor. It's heavy. It's a first-gen product. Will I get one in the future? Highly likely if they address the above points.
>Battery life is poor.
Get a powerbank
>It's heavy.
Work out
>It's a first-gen product.
Wait for second gen.
life is poor.
>Get a powerbank
Yeah let's make my handheld even heavier.
>>It's heavy.
>Work out
I do. It doesn't make the handheld any lighter to hold.
>Yeah let's make my handheld even heavier.
See part 2
>I do. It doesn't make the handheld any lighter to hold.
Wouldn't be a problem if you see through part 2 and stop being a little pansy whiny fairy
just ordered mine
