        Was it?

call me when digimon becomes a household name

It is in some homes in the US. It was a competitor to Pokemon, had a TV show, merchandise and all that. I would say it was just the "Pepsi" to Pokemon's "Coke"

why don't you show your mom a picture of pikachu and a digimon and see if she can say their names?
chances are she'll only know pikachu.

My mom knows digimon because she watched the original series with me when I was a kid. She refused to watch pokemon with me because she hated Ash's voice though.
Guess that since the metric of success is based on my mom that means I win again.

Due to Mario they own stars, suns, and moons. They also own coins of all colors (through Mario as well as DK64) and any type of humanoid creature
