Just limit switching to once per certain number of turns.
> Just limit switching to once per certain number of turns
That would make Pokemom even more of an unplayable farce than it is. There’s be no why to deal with bad match ups. Every turn would just be rock-paper-scissors except on the few turns you could switch
Then your favorite battle simulator elitists will have a "vote" and agree to have the standard ruleset "go back to switching anytime for the health of the meta"
Shadow Tag counters: >baton pass >u-turn >volt switch >flip turn >parting shot >shed shell >ghost type >whirlwind >roar >dragon tail >circle throw >role play >skill swap >worry seed >entrainment >simple beam >gastric acid >neutralizing gas >knock out the pokemon
Stealth Rock counters: >rapid spin >defog >magic coat >magic guard
and that's it!
There are 4 Pokemon lines that learn Shadow Tag vs dozens and dozens that learn Stealth Rock. Shadow Tag is not even in the same realm to be as broken as Stealth Rock.
>oh the the person suddenly sent out a pokemon with shadow tag let me switch in my coun-
you won't always have a pokemon with a phaser or pivot move out
stealth rocks dont kill you immediately and you have a chance to bring out your defogger or spinner and only take some chip. if you dont have an out to shadow tag on the field at the moment your opponent switches in, you auto-lose
This, but unironically. >Kills everybody in direct contact with it
Exactly what you want in a war. >Requires everyone to wear a hazmat suit or they get infected
Not if you deploy it from far away. >Said hazmat suits are useless in every other combat scenario
There won't be any other combat scenarios. >Only really benefits armies that can weaponise it
Good. Your army will be stronger than all the others. >Will outright cripple any othee country facing it or at least force them to focus way too much of their budget on dealing with it
Good. Total annihilation of your enemy is the goal of warfare and the only way to ensure lasting peace.

They have. It's called playing Battle Stadium. When you only have at most two Pokemon in the back, regardless of format, your Switching options are a lot more limited. If you're playing a 6v6 format Switching will be much stronger of an option. It's no different than if you were playing a format with perma-sand that things like Leftovers and Steel/Ground/Rock types would be over-represented. Also even in a 6v6 format there are plenty of anti-Switch mechanics. Entry hazards are like the one team effect in game that isn't turn limited, unlike things like Safeguard/screens/etc. Either use the tools you have, or play a different game.
99% of Pokehomosexuals don't switch in battle unless they're playing on switch mode.

Banned how? Does my game crash if I use it or something?
yes if you use it the smogon council will transition your console from working to trans-bricked

have a nice day.

If you think Camoflaged Legos are more OP than Shadow Tag you barely understand the game
You clearly don't understand the game yourself.

Disingenuous homosexual.

You forgot Court Change and Tidy Up
Stealth Rock is also countered by Magic Bounce while we're at it.
This, but unironically.

Don't forget Magic Bounce, Heavy Duty Boots, Court Change, Tidy Up, Mortal Spin, Ground types, Steel types, and Fighting types.
Skill issue. Double switching for positioning against stall gays when you're using hyper offense is the funnest thing in the world.
>play clown fanfic format

This is why smogtards are annoying as frick.
VGCsissies fear the smogGODs.
>puts your setup lead to sleep
Pursuit and Set Mode got axed. RIP moment
>Set Mode got axed
What the frick?
No one's forcing you to play that way, they said.
none of these changes are bad except single use TMs
>choices in my rpg
>help me gamefreak!!1!
You are why the series is constantly being dumbed down.
pointless tedious shit != choices
Having single use TMs isn't tedious. You thinking you need ice beam and earthquake on everything is what makes it tedious.
>Having single use TMs isn't tedious
It is.
>You thinking you need ice beam and earthquake on everything
But I do need them on the Pokemon I need to use them on.
>But I do need them on the Pokemon I need to use them on.
For what? The games are easy and you don't have friends or compete.
>For what?
Battle Tower
PvP
>B-BUT THE GAME IS EASY!!!
then why limit them to single use in the first place?
>then why limit them to single use in the first place?

Jajaja mi amigo. Define tedious.

Things I don't like
Hope this helps

Pointlessly padding the game to get things I'll eventually get anyway.
How do you eventually get them if there's only one? It sounds like you're the one making it tedious.
>How do you eventually get them if there's only one?
Be trading it to another copy of the game or starting a new save.
>replaying a game is pointless padding
You do it to yourself.
Good.
There used to be this really cool move called Pursuit, shame Game Freak removed it for no discernable reason.
Imagine playing competitive Pokemon. I can't stand you homosexuals, all of you should have a nice day.

you don't play pokemon, go back to Ganker tourist
There are, they are entry hazards.

Play the real game.

Bunp
They used to let you select "set" mode but too many frogs selected it and then b***hed when it made the game too hard for them.
