Why haven't indie developers copied it yet? Are they just that untalented?

I worked at a special needs housing facility in college for a semester, and one day I walked in on a tard fricking a hole in the wall that he kicked in. That man has more brain cells than most Indie devs
Wow! I didn't know you interned at EA.
I was put in upper management right after my interview cause I didn't snack on paint chips during the interview
Sorry to call you out. I was just making a simple comparison, my simple compadre.
Did he win?
Nobody asked
the recluse seethes at the sight of a creative taking intuition
>Are they just that untalented?
Yes. Next question.
I ask this question all the time for shit like animal crossing.
Be the change that you seek
too much work to make a 3d parkour game.
better make another 2d platformer or earthbound inspired rpg made in rpgmaker.
Play Dying Light 1. It has some parkour mechanics. Combine that with zombie chases at nighttime, it's fun af.
Especially when you join a randoms game and you survive together.
DL is missing the most important factor of ME, and that's actual momentum/variable speed.
I've seen a few that have
Neon White, Nimbus, Cloudbuilt, etc
none of those play anything like ME
your mom plays like ME
if you don't think Neon White is inspired by ME then you're delusional. It very clearly is
inspired, sure, but neon white is too spastic and fast. it emphasizes combat as well. the core of mirror's edge is that it feels like realistic parkour.
missed you bro, how you been ?
Ghostrunner is MIrror's Edge as a cyberninja..
wishlisted 2, first game was tiresome but I have found memories of it, good narration, and the environments were on point (and I dont even like cyberpunk)
I passed on playing this game as a kid because it has a hideous asian woman on the cover, who thought that was a good marketing idea?
First Person Platformer is a fundamentally shit concept. It sucked in Mirror's Edge and it sucked in Nightrunner or whatever the frick that game was.
>t. lacks depth perception
Real life depth perception does not translate to a virtual 3d space projected on to a 2d screen moron-kun.
>copying a bad game
why would they do that?
I'd to play a game like Mirror's Edge but with better shooting and more emphasize on combat. For now backlogged Ghostrunner as such, isn't it similar?
Ghostrunner is kino
>look up Ghostrunner
>cyberpunk, but way with better gameplay
why the frick isn't this game more popular?
it's had as frick and not for normies, heard they even nerfed the difficulty on consoles
I played the demo, and it was barely functional.
The laser generator boss filters them, that's my best guess, but even then Ghostrunner is very easy up till that boss and the mobs placement only gets complicated and hard on the few last levels and NG+. Don't know why there aren't any people talk about it, it has everything that a casual play would love : simple control, fast and fluid movement, quick replay button everytime you die and beautiful graphics.
An indie dev wont be able to recreate mirrors edge platforming mechanics. Its too complex
I saw the sequel on sale and tried it out, never played either gay before. You guys lied to me, she's hot as frick in the sequel although i'm not far into it so I haven't seen the extent of Anita's influence.
Dying Light superseded it
Mirror's Edge, as enjoyable as it is, has a few poorly designed segments (the garage for example), and because it's a linear game, you HAVE to do them.
If there's content in Dying Light you don't like, you can just not do it.
>If there's content in Dying Light you don't like, you can just not do it.
I don't like the crafting system.
Then don't do it
>B-b-but I got no medkits!
Git gud then.
Nice argument, Senator.
