steam is used mostly by favela monkies from Ganker and they can't run it and can't afford it so they just seethe and froth

it's a live service but they're charging for the price of a game that would allow you to unlock all the content in game, except you buy the game, AND you buy all the content if you want it..

Worst Diablo thus far, story wasn't very interesting, characters weren't very interesting, gameplay isn't very fun, season content doesn't make up for lack of main game content, pre-order packs were a rip off although honestly the game was more fun before launch than it was after so the early access was tolerable.
nah it was better than 3 on release. 3 was one of the most disappointing games i have ever played.

It is hated because it's a blizzard game and blizzard recently pulled their games from China so now you have billions of Chinese bots review bombing everything Blizzard.
I don't think it's very good, but I'm also a monkey who has put tens of thousands of hours into arpgs. D4 wasn't made for people like me.

If you have a lot of excess time then D2 is worth it. If you have little time for games, then go for D3.
Diablo 1 is good but I feel like it’s a game you wouldn’t like unless you grew up with it. I wouldn’t recommend playing it without the hellfire expansion either.

When people played diablo 4 and started being nostalgic for diablo 3 you know they fricked up big time.
Its poorly rated because people hate Blizzard, it launched with shit all and the Diablo 4bad meme, does the game have its faults? Yes. Is Blizzard putting all hands on deck to fix it so much that Diablo 2 no longer has people working on it? As much as I hate to say it yes. IF you like ARPGs in general you will like Diablo 4.

I don't know Diablo series very well but this is right. I really enjoyed 3+DLC when I got it on PS4 but only did one clear. I thought 4 was alright-- Bone Necro was a little too safe and boring. I put it down for a while and then suddenly started thinking about the game again and ended up playing the new season just wandering around having fun (electric sorcesses). It's a good game. The only reason I'm not double dipping to just have it on steam and PS5 is that I have it on ps5 and already bought two costumes (costumes are way too expensive).

a sequel to a classic franchise is built like a fotm pump n dump F2P title. there is literally no diablo, and there is level scaling done lazily so you never feel like youve progressed
It just feels unfinished. The campaign is fine but everything past that is just garbage. For a game that tries to get players back via quarterly seasons, you would expect them to put in a lot more work for the end game.

The only true bullshit in the game, meanwhile D4 is more than a full price game and despite that has 3 different battle pass tiers and paid currency for a cash shop where they're selling things that could should have been in the game in the first place.

I don't like that the season pass costs 1000 platinum but you get 700 plat back by completing it, I do like the character design, mostly of lilith and the goth necromancer perflattie but sadly I didnt manage to play much since I found out the free week is actually capped at lvl 20 which is some giga gay shit, I was planing to finish the game, the game runs nice on my 2080ti and I somehow didnt stutter with 200% resolution from 1080p and no dlss, its impressive but that just makes the game more bittersweet, I'm still standing by my vow to not buy the game until they add back the demon hunter class, even if necromancer is pretty fun, I dont know if the current base game has rifts and challenge rifts like in d3 those were the best part of the game imo

The game is a solid 6/10, which is a massive improvement over Diablo 3's 3/10 on release. It took Diablo 3 some seven years to claw its way up to 7/10, so if Blizzard doesn't abandon Diablo 4 (and it seems they won't) the game could easily go up to 8/10 in just a year or two. They've already improved it a lot. There are still some big cons, like itemization. It's mental they've fricked it up two games in a row; PoE utterly mogs D3 and D4 in that regard, but I'm pretty sure Blizz will rework the itemization along the way like they did with D3 to be less shit.
